Sorry for poor editing above - pressed 'send' to test as it seemed to have frozen - and it did send ....
Another reason for dropping by, as well as acknowledging MAS's good news, was to offer up a jar of VitD3 to a good home. I bought it a few months ago online, found out when the jar arrived it wasn't veggie ( I am veggie and since then have got stuff frm health food shop that suits me). Obviously it's now too late to return. So, first dibs to the person who sends me a postal address by PM, and who doesn't mind ingesting fish oils! I can't think of anyone in RL who would even consider Vit D - my friends are all amazingly healthy, ignorant, unaware, or so it seems. I'm happy to send to anyone in UK (and, no, i don't just mean the mainland - hiya, Celtic cousins)Big grin:

Did you know you can hire VW vans? Apparently though they eat fuel. It sounds like fun, though not sure my marriage would survive such a 'trip'. I feel similarly about camping holidays, incidentally. DH and I don't do holidays together these days - the odd night away 'sans enfants' but actual holidays are too stressful, sadly.
Interested in all your news, and still reading when I can. Not able to respond properly though. Partly, 'fried brain' on high dose steroids (that awful combination of too tired to sleep but too wired to think straight - I know many of you will identify with this). The joys. Also can identify with chronic pain - ongoing shoulder pain too - and since yesterday bursitis in knee (not jsut house that's falling apart). Luckily, both on same side so I could lie on other side to (sort of) sleep.
Shocked at the tales of unprofessionalism. Ashokan - i hope you get an apology from Dr W. So glad though you had somebody with you to support and witness. And you acted on it. There was no excuse for this, no matter how 'bad' a day he was having or wahtever twuntish reason he might give. It's possible you won't have a choice of onc if you are in a very specialist category, but I'd imagine it very hard to go back under this idiot's care after such an experience.
I need to stop now - typing going awry and ds3 needs laptip to do course work - it's time he got his own (he has the funds, just slow to act. lovely, adorable but frustrating young man .....). And the steroids mean I need to eat - AGAIN!
