Do you have any news on the results yet?

Bugsy2 · 30/03/2006 10:09

yes, was thinking of you yesterday - any news you can bear to tell us?

ToujoursMarine · 30/03/2006 10:23

Hi Lou, have you heard any of the results yet? Have been thinking of you, as have others.

lou33 · 31/03/2006 12:48

Nothing yet.

He looks better than when i came home, and was well enough to go to amsterdam yesterday to do a gig, he will be back monday evening, so he will call for the results on tuesday morning.

Looking better is a good sign, yes?

Could be the stress that is causing him to be ill you know.
I don't want to raise your hopes unneccessarily, but many moons ago my aunt was told that she might have lung cancer, she was displaying the symptoms and an x-ray showed a shadow on her lung. As she is a prolific smoker, this was of little surprise to us. Once she got this diagnoses her health deteriorated so we were all convinced that this was it for her, however further results came back negative and when she was rescanned, the shadow was gone. They can't quite explain it, seems it was just one of those things. But she's right as rain now!

Just goes to show that if you think there is something seriously wrong with you, your body acts accordingly.

That would be good Rhuby, let's hope it is something like that Smile

Any news yet Lou?

Socci · 04/04/2006 16:22

Any news?

lou33 · 04/04/2006 17:57

just got back from the doctor

there are no signs of cancer, which is really good news, but his lymphocytes are strange they said, so he has to see a haematology specialist when he comes back from bangkok in june

the doc said the feeling of something in his throat was most likely down to stress, as the xray showed up nothing, and they can't rule out tb yet (something to do with it coming in cycles)

the blood they put down to the force of him vomiting, possibly from some virus he had, the sweats they cannot answer yet

but he doesnt have cancer

thanks everyone for all your support
