initial tests show he could have cancer of the oesophagus, he is going for more this week

i found out when i was away in thailand, i just got back today

i pretty much know what the outlook is for him if it is the case, but i wondered if anyone has any experience of it

it's such a huge shock, he is only 43

Wow, Lou that is such fantastic news about the cancer. Shame he was an arse about coming back to the kids, particularly after all the support you've given him. Sounds like he must have got himself seriously run down though, to get in the state that he did.

Typical man to behave in this way. If we got the all clear we'd be round to family and friends putting them out of their misery, but all men can think about is getting pissed! My dh'd probably be the same!

yesterday was grim, but i am much more postive today, he seems in a better mood too (he is here til the 17th)

and i just had my first driving lesson and it was bloody great!

go to my driving thread loive, i am learning in an auto as well, as that is the car i will be driving when i pass, and i need to get on the roads asap
