Hope the scans go well gigs and jane. Hope it isn't too long until the results are back.

Any word on your results mas?

GP gave me antibiotics as turns out it isn't cystitis but an urinary infection I have. I had just taken one when GP phoned to say under no circumstances as they are not to be taken with anticoagulants and she gave me a different one. You couldn't make it up - everything is always complicated with me.

Really need to do some shopping online. My fridge is like Old Mother Hubbards.

Don't feel Ned - you didn't exactly have to twist my arm - I was in holiday mode anyway and I like to have a few edible treats on holiday. I think it was the large box of M and S 'more chocolate than biscuit' Biscuits in my mum's kitchen that did the damage

yes surgeon is very glam - she's all designer dresses and very high heels - but she's lovely, not one of those intimidatingly beautiful people you sometimes meet.

1 blood result back and definitely no blood clot on lung -so dh can relax a bit ! Have to wait a bit for the others. Not being paranoid, but would one be for seeing if there is any cancer do you think ?

Glad there isn't a clot mas. I wouldn't think the other test would be for cancer probably more a full blood picture as I think that is fairly standard when doing blood tests. could you phone back and ask them what it is for? I used to be a medical secretary so I always ask loads of questions.

When you say cancer , do you mean on lungs or bones? If so that would show on scan I would imagine.

Have managed to turn to on without remote control. Never done that before! complicated cable box thingy! My scan is just an ultrasound to check out excessive bleeding. Have to drink 2 pints of water an hour before it and I don't like the idea of 'trans vaginal' tmi sorry

Work settling down a bit now, made a few mistakes during the stress of the move I but the hot desking seems to have resulted in our team sitting together which is better than before :) Hope you are all enjoying the evening!
