topsyturner · 16/07/2012 22:07

You are all being very quiet tonight .
What's up ?
Have you all gone and gotten real lives or something stupid ?
Grin

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/07/2012 22:14

I was watching the BBC4 documentary on toilets...

OP posts:
topsyturner · 16/07/2012 22:20

I should have watched that .
Have had ring of fire all evening ...

You know that's gonna give you weird dreams Mas !

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/07/2012 22:39

yes indeeedy Grin Sorry about your bottom

OP posts:
topsyturner · 17/07/2012 04:51

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh .
Awake again .
Why ??????

Gigondas · 17/07/2012 05:31

You are just conditioned to wake early in case we have incoming fire topsy. I can lend you mini gig for company..

Sorry was watching a film that had Daniel craig and Harrison ford in last night... Raised the dilemma of who was better in their prime - probably Harrison ?

Sometimesiwonder · 17/07/2012 09:38

Well I must say I take a jolly nice photo, and I'm looking slim. I knew marshalling was for me

I'm sorry too about your bottom, Topsy Sad - but I'm not surprised that MAS was watching the loo programme. I quite fancied it myself, but DH was having none of it. Any good factoids emerge?

Gigondas · 17/07/2012 10:00

Anyone got anyBrew - done in after early start?

topsyturner · 17/07/2012 10:02

Was it that Space Cowboys thing Gig ?
I started watching that at 5am , it was enough to put me back to sleep with pleasant dreams of Daniel Craig (the only blonde man to ever be priviledged enough to reach my "I would" list)

Ring of fire appears to have abated this morning , thanks for the botty sympathies .
Grin

topsyturner · 17/07/2012 10:03

I'll put the kettle on , just as soon as I get out of bed ...

Gigondas · 17/07/2012 10:04

It was... Am still a Harrison woman. Might have to think who is in my top 5 while I am at dentist.

Sympathy on the ring of fire- my tummy was all over shop last time but seems ok so far this cycle.

KurriKurri · 17/07/2012 10:05

Morning all, - missed the toilet programme - sounds fascinating!

Gig - I'd say Harrison, up until the time he had his mid life crisis, and went all weird - now he looks a wreck.

I'm glad you liked your photo Sometimes - that look suits you Grin

Brew on the go here, and possible chance of scrambled eggs, if I can be bothered.

Bit worried about Bollocks, - if you are reading lovey, let us know how you are, and if there's anything we can help with xx

KurriKurri · 17/07/2012 10:07

topsy -re ring of fire (TMI follows) fill a squirty water bottle with cold water and squirt onto the 'area' as you poo.

KurriKurri · 17/07/2012 10:09

Oh and sudocreme and immodium are your friends Grin

Sometimesiwonder · 17/07/2012 10:10

Yes, I was thinking about Bollocks this morning - hope she is OK. If you're lurking, Bollocks, please break cover!

Topsy Shock Not into blond men? How COULD you???? I like a nice blond, myself. ideally with green eyes

topsyturner · 17/07/2012 10:27

Yes Bollocks , please let us know . You don't need to get into a whole speech , just bob your head up and come back later if you feel like it .

Gigs be careful at the dentist .
Treatment (including dental cleaning) not recommended on chemo !!!!

SparkleRainbow · 17/07/2012 10:32

How is everyone? Am putting the kettle on now.

Sometimesiwonder · 17/07/2012 10:41

Not too bad, Sparkles, thank you! Counting the minutes until my hair appt later - can hardly see under my fringe. Other than that, just doing a little bit of work and also (whisper it) washing curtains. I sure know how to have fun Hmm

topsyturner · 17/07/2012 10:43

Me Miss please ! Very Large Coffee required in this direction Sparkle !

Did anyone feel hungover on either Tax or Herceptin ?

Also on my missing list is Gracie .
You alright Ducky ?

topsyturner · 17/07/2012 10:43

Curtains need washing ?
The things I have learnt on mums net ...

smee · 17/07/2012 10:51

Curtains needing washing?! Thought I was on the wrong thread then. Grin

Hellloooooo!!! been absent doing all sorts of trivial domestic and school stuff. Summer Fair was a v.British washout, though we had a fantastic water fight in the middle of it all, so reprobates like me enjoyed it mightily. Didn't get to wear a fancy outfit like Sometimes though.

Had a quick flick though and woo-hoo for Sometimes and her clear mammo. Excellent news. Smile Smile

  • phew and triple phew for Kurri, you are v.clever passing your test. [test]

What else has been happening then?? I have Brew on the go for those who want some, and am pouring a small mountain of Haribo left over from the school fair onto the fbt xx Smile

KurriKurri · 17/07/2012 10:54

Coffee please Sparkle - you lovely woman - we've run out and I'm gasping.

topsy - I felt quite dizzy and peculiar on herceptin at times (I found it was bad at the beginning of the course, then levelled off a bit, then got worse again as the dose built up). I didn't have it at the same time as chemo though - so that's an added factor for you. Do be careful with balance - I had a couple of falls on it - basically just overbalancing - just make sure you hang on to something if you are bending down.

Also - (sorry to harp on about bums Blush) but I had diarrhoea most of the time I was on herceptin - I was permanently on immodium or I'd have got dehydrated, - so it does have that effect, - keep up your fluids and get something if you are going loads of times a day. I always kept some of those rehydration sachets in the house too.

KurriKurri · 17/07/2012 10:54

Hello Smee Smile

topsyturner · 17/07/2012 10:59

Doesn't help that I have permanent bloody heartburn , so aswell as the heartburn tabs I am living on strawberry nesquick milkshakes !
I seem to recall dairy products are not the best thing when you have botty probs ?

Just feel like I'm going to end up on a tablet spiral .
Take painkillers for the tax truck aches .
Take tablets for heartburn .
Take botty tabs .
Take tabs for brain balancing .

I feel like one of those old women that have tablet organisers ... Grin
