Grin oh no amber

sparkling If you are reading can I suggest that you block life limiting illness and also and threads on here that come up with cancer aside from this. Just seen another today that certainly wobbled me as was a classic internet special (only the worst type of story, posted by someone sadly quite worried/desperate and then healthy boot of the old favourite dr google diagnosis).

Offers home baked tea bread to fbs which I have to say is working well on my nausea Grin

Gigondas · 15/07/2012 13:44

Meant stars but I think of you as sparkling.

topsyturner · 15/07/2012 22:03

topsyturner · 16/07/2012 07:10

And tell Mini Gig to stop being such a party animal !

DH just about to leave for work .
I'm going back to bed for a couple of hours .

See you all then x

Sometimesiwonder · 16/07/2012 10:04

Hi all

Just wanted to add my very belated congratulations to KK! magnificently judged revision - not a moment wasted!

Good to see Holsten and Stars again - though sorry things are tough for you, Stars. Hugs. Holsten - am sending positive vibes for the biopsy results.

And much love to everyone else. Will catch up when my head stops spinning - VERY lively weekend Grin - though marshalling the parade as officially a Let Down. I got a very ickle road to police and only a cone to close it with. Other people got bigger roads and proper grown up barriers to use Envy. I didn't have to stop one car. Not one! Angry The high vis jacket was classy though

MaryAnnSingleton · 16/07/2012 10:06

Grin @ sometimes road patrol !

Hi MAS!

Bah indeed! How depressing.

topsyturner · 16/07/2012 10:43

Grin Sometimes
I maybe see a future in Lolly Pop Lady-Dom ?

In the past year I have had precisely 2 and a 1/2 periods .
I would be quite happy if the damn things disappeared for good Mas !

DH back at work , I have aprox 3 days worth of cleaning , tidying and chucking out to do now though .
Everything covered in a thick layer of dust (from his decorating !)
Sigh .
Maybe I should get something to eat first , then think about cleaning ?

Who wants to check the Easy Jet schedule and come on over and do my cleaning for me ? Grin

I must be feeling better if I can moan this much ... Grin

Gigondas · 16/07/2012 10:54

You really wouldn't want me doing cleaning topsy - I am a by word for mess here Grin

Mini gig has taken her party on the road with big gig so peaceful morning. Am offering her round for loan but you have to be able to admire the ability to roll onto your tummy , look up and grab a toy repeatedly and the show goes on 24/7.

Gigondas · 16/07/2012 10:55

No sometimes is going to rescue the Olympics road/security issues.

I have no idea what is going on with my periods - I had hoped would go but seeing as the other thing I wanted gone with chemo (leg hair) hasn't gone either I bet I will lose my wish.

Sometimesiwonder · 16/07/2012 11:07

No, Gig, I found leg hair doesn't go, too. Angry

Yes!!!!! I need to help out with the Olympics! Of course! Wahey!!!! Dashing off to find Boris's number...

topsyturner · 16/07/2012 11:23

All my body hair went with my last chemo .

It had better bloody go this time !

Inspired !
Sometimes will be new head of G4 and co ordinate all security for Olympics .
We will also have to attend to physically body search all those toned rippling athletic bodies ....

Gigondas · 16/07/2012 11:33

Do we need to change the orange theme to something olympically themed just follow Topsy to your room

Also as a cyclist he will appreciate your dedication to lack of body hair.

Sometimesiwonder · 16/07/2012 11:44

Ooh crikey - Hellllooooo Chris Hoy

topsyturner · 16/07/2012 11:58

Oooooh Mr Hoy ......

Grin
topsyturner · 16/07/2012 13:01

Polished .
Crap tidied away .
Floors hoovered .

Have filled mop bucket but not quite got the energy to mop yet .
Am now on the sofa watching Thelma's Gypsy Girls .

Who's making lunch today ?

Baskets45 · 16/07/2012 13:46

ooh, impressive muscles .....

KurriKurri · 16/07/2012 13:53

I'll make lunch - I have some salady bits and dips, and some kettle crisps

Hugs to Stars - so sorry you are having such a tough time Sad - I wish I had some practical suggestions to offer, - but I'm at a bit of a loss. What sort of social services/disability help is there where you are?

Sometimes - I'd have been very disappointed with only one cone, hope you put it on your head in protest Grin High vis. jacket is good though - did they let you keep it, so you can wear it all the time?

Bah to random period MAS - I can't shed any light on the situation because mine stopped long before I got cancer, when I had a hysterectomy.

topsy - I would do all your cleaning for you but I'm very busy

All my hair except leg hair went during chemo - but the leg hair was definitely softer and sparser - not my usually gorilla fur.

Went to yoga this morning - so feeling quite achey now!
DH has gone back to the doctors - he's still not feeling right, - I'm getting a bit worried Sad

Gigondas · 16/07/2012 14:05

I would love to help Topsy but am glued to sofa.

kurri sorry about dh- it must be a worry.

I am not sure what dh said to nanny1 last week but she is almost normal...so quite peaceful here.

Also do I get to be a steward too If I promise not to put the cone on my head?

Sometimesiwonder · 16/07/2012 14:16

Everyone can be a steward as long as they don't put the cone on their head (I'm looking at you, KK ) as I can attest that the diameter is wayyyyyyy too big. You'd end up with just your legs poking out, which would detract massively from the gravitas that the role requires. It is a Serious Business being a steward, and i am most disappointed that they required the high vis jacket back Sad.

KK - I am sorry your dh is no better. Sad Is he likely to let them fob him off. or will he insist on being taken seriously now?

topsyturner · 16/07/2012 14:21
Grin

Time for DH to get stern with the GP I think kk . They can't keep leaving him like this .

Am muchly disappointed in all of your feeble excuses re why you couldn't possibly help with my housework .
No one of you said "I do have Cancer you know" Grin
