MAS - I've sent you a PM Smile

chips and gravy topsy - reminds me of my lovely great aunt, who I named my DD after. Used to always get chips and gravy at her house Smile

Aw, thanks all. Smile Am so nervous I can barely breathe, but best get it over with.

Amber, how much of a drop?? Wow.. Brilliant news. Smile

Kurri, poor you - bloody thyroid sounds pesky in the extreme. Sad

Sorry not to post to all, but I have too much work to do to make up for missing a day due to scan tomorrow. Hugs to all. Not at all sure I'd still be standing without you..

KurriKurri · 07/03/2012 21:16

Smee - deep slow breathing while you are in the waiting room, is it in the morning? - think of a nice treat for afterwards and focus on that Smile
Will be thinking of you xx

topsyturner · 07/03/2012 21:56

Gig mucho Envy re your trip to France .
Am expecting very very good treats for the fbs trolley on your return !

Amber great news about your BP . Doesn't mean you can start running around like a mad thing again though Smile

Have ordered some more wool online . Sigh ... my name is topsy and I have a problem Grin

topsyturner · 07/03/2012 21:57

kk cabbage on the fbs trolley ?
Am deeply disappointed in you ... Grin

KurriKurri · 07/03/2012 22:04

I thought if I shoved it on quickly and took something nice instead, no one would notice Grin DD has a slightly crispy mini battenburg she's hoarding in the cupboard - any takers?

OP posts:
MaryAnnSingleton · 07/03/2012 22:53

loads of love to smee and have a very wonderful time in France gig
off to look at kk's message...

smee · 07/03/2012 23:03

Gnaws on cabbage - is that really all there is on fb trolley?!

Kurri am shocked you let your DD hoard battenburg. Surely that's a crime against cake. Shock

Topsy, step away from the needles and devote yourself to better snacks. Grin

Gig, enjoy France. Hope teeniest Gig sleeps in the car. Smile

Right, have just finished working. I become nuclear at 0930 hours, then have to roam the streets of London radiating folk before the scan at lunchtime. Off to watch the end of Newsnight in bed with the cat as DH away at work.

Night all xx

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/03/2012 07:38

NedSchneebly · 08/03/2012 08:10

Love to smee today- thinking of you x x x

Hair given up the fight and fed up with bits shedding everywhere - quite a bit in the bed this morning. Bald bits on either side and at the back. Will debut headscarf for the school run then off the hairdressers to have rest sheared off.

Seeing nice lady GP at lunchtime today.

Pink wafers MAS? Yum, haven't had those in years! Good luck with the car fixing mission.

kurri cabbage? Surely that missed the point entirely?! Hope you had a good restful night and are feeling somewhat better this morning? Thinking of you x

((((((hugs))))))) to topsy and good work with the knitting!

Must get DS dressed and select appropriate Buff. . .

Waves to all and will check in properly later x x x

Gigondas · 08/03/2012 08:13

Smee thinking of you.

Minigig had better night so book must have worked Wink

I will add some iced party rings to go with pink wafers. Better haul myself out into cold to do school run...

Hope you are glowing soon smee
Off with car now.x

NedSchneebly · 08/03/2012 10:05

Now have number 2 crewcut all over, and very clear that there is not much left and have lots of bald spots. Feel positive and in control. . . Hmm Wink

am wearing this today. DSs choice, he seemed very excited to choose which I should wear to take him to school. It took some persuading that he didn't need to wear one too. . . Smile At least he's positive about it, and seems to be taking it in his stride.

thank gig Definitely not that glamorous! More like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=hair+art&num=10&um=1&hl=en&biw=1920&bih=979&tbm=isch&tbnid=q9xnGnxPb5jeEM:&imgrefurl=mdfy.me/2011/03/hair-art-tattoo-photos/&docid=FegcSeYtp9pJVM&imgurl=mdfy.me/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/hair-art-tattoo-06.jpg&w=381&h=400&ei=vIN" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this with all the bald patches!!

Glad minigig has clearly read the manual. She's obviously excited about her weekend away, and sensibly getting some rest in preparation Smile

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/03/2012 10:47

well done ned - proud of you- and scarf looks lovely- bless little ned Grin

Gigondas · 08/03/2012 11:08

That's lovely Ned and glad ds taking it in his stride. If it was midigig you would probably had to go on school run in a pink stephanie from lazytown wig...

Sometimesiwonder · 08/03/2012 11:59

Well done for taking the initiative, ned. That scarf is very chic indeed. I am glad that little ned is taking it well: kids are pretty resilient, thank goodness Smile

smee · 08/03/2012 13:42
amberlight · 08/03/2012 13:59

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/03/2012 14:51

fabbest news smee - will add ds and dh's Maltesers and Minstrels to the trolley in celebration !
Car sorted- £294 - eek

topsyturner · 08/03/2012 15:07

Brilliant news smee ! Choccie buttons and a crime egg added to the celebration trolley .

Ned feels good to take control of the hair thing doesn't it ? I wore buffs when I lost my hair . I actually only wore them when my head was freezing . Other times I just went bare headed !

Amber sofa , now !!!

mas faints clear away at the amount Charles has cost you this year !

smee · 08/03/2012 15:07

Eek indeed MAS. Think you need Maltersers and Minstrels. Though I have just bought a Mindfulzine, so that's a bit towards the car. Grin
