lucy5 · 23/09/2005 14:58

Im actually quite excited about the prospect, thats got to be a first!

dropinthe · 23/09/2005 14:58

Knee getting much better although flares up when I am at work-I get loads of fluid around it and it goes all puffy.

Well done for being so decisive about stopping for good-was getting worried about you! Thought we were going to lose you in the nicotine abyss!

lucy5 · 23/09/2005 14:59

What do you do dropinthe?

dropinthe · 23/09/2005 15:00

I work in a cash office counting loads of money and standing on my feet for hours on end!
What about you?

lucy5 · 23/09/2005 15:02

I teach, so no lovely money but stand up for hours too. I used to work in Morgan grampian in Woolwich, do you know it? I taught at woolwich college for a year too, the plumstead site.

dropinthe · 23/09/2005 15:03

No to the first-yes to the second.Do you teach English?

dropinthe · 23/09/2005 15:04

Got to go and pick up ds1 now-speak to you lovelies later!

lucy5 · 23/09/2005 15:05

Yes, although i taught history In woolwich. Morgan Grampian is round the back of safeway, if its still there. It's a publishers.

charliecat · 23/09/2005 16:26

I seem to have banished my cold with a lemsip, keeping it at bay anyway Did you see we are now richish on the other smokign thread..........still singing about that.

dropinthe · 23/09/2005 17:43

Richish?-you pissed as well as full of cold or do you type like you speak CC?

charliecat · 23/09/2005 18:14

I type like I speak...lol
The lasanges in the oven BTW...

mummylonglegs · 23/09/2005 22:00

What do you mean richish, cc? You're a very cryptic kitty you know ... How was the lasagne by the way ... ?

I've had to really fight the urge to smoke today. It's truly amazing how rapidly the addiction comes back, after a couple of weeks of a few slips I'm not quite back to square one in terms of quitting but I'm feeling crap.

I've gotta stay strong.

Come on, drop, nag me!

OP posts:
dropinthe · 23/09/2005 22:02

NAG NAG NAG NAG NAG NAG!

Stay off the bloody fags MIL!

mummylonglegs · 23/09/2005 22:17

OP posts:
dropinthe · 23/09/2005 22:20

Just waitng for him to drop off then I can settle down to some serious mnetting! Sad,eh?
When we meeting up again,hon?

mummylonglegs · 23/09/2005 22:21

When do you fancy, drop? Dd's at her playgroup now 5 mornings so would have to be an afternoon meeting? How about Greenwich one afternoon?

OP posts:
dropinthe · 23/09/2005 22:23

Only if you can get there without too much hassle-I can,as I have suggested, drive to Southwarky area and we can meet up somehwere closer to you.Remember DS1 only at nursery two full days a week so always free MON/TUES/THUR!

mummylonglegs · 23/09/2005 22:31

Greenwich is easy peasy for me, just 10 mins or so on the bus. I can pick up dd from playgroup, give her her usual 3 bites of something for lunch and let her have a kip on the way.

A Tuesday or Thursday soon then?

I wish cc could come too don't you?
