@JustHereWithMyPopcorn when I have got scripts back you can see all the examiners marks. The exams officer can also see the number of marks for each question, but not for each sub-question, which was useless for Chemistry as there were a few big questions made of lots of parts. Edexcel scripts were free to download in 2019, that seems to have switched to AQA now.
A friend who was marking GCSE Geography was told to mark generously, but found that (although she is lovely and kind and wants people to do well), she consistently gave marks lower than the moderation papers she was given. Her group leader said 3/3 for SPAG should be exceptional, but the sample marked by the chief examiner was very relaxed about it.
Exams are a terrible way of assessing people for important things and impossible to moderate accurately.
