I’m collecting two magic bags today..

From Too Good To Go! Have had mixed results previously, once I got some sourdough bread, organic lamb, organic pork and lots of veg for 4 quid! But last time it was a gone off artichoke, peaches and squashy bananas. Does anyone else use it?
One bag is from the local health food shop, and one from a local cafe. Might ask for recipe suggestions later depending on what I get.

Thanks to this thread I gave Too Good To Go a try and today collected a £4 magic bag from a local artisan bakery. Really chuffed as I got 3 800g loaves of seeded bread, two 4-packs of brioche rolls and a 4-pack of spiced cinnamon rolls. That's tomorrow's breakfast, this weekend's picnic and 3 weeks worth of sandwiches sorted! I'll definitely be trying some other places on the app too now that I know how easy it is to use. Thanks all!

There’s a Tim hortons near me but the collection time is 23:00-23:30 or something mad!

Got a Wenzel's bakery one today thinking it'd be fun for a lazy lunch in the garden tomorrow but got quite a bit more than I expected for £3.50: ham & salad baguette, chicken, bacon & emmental club sandwich, two coconut cheesecakes, choc doughnut, lemon doughnut, bag of mini donuts, cherry cronut and a white loaf. I started putting the cakes in the freezer but DH was having none of it 😂

I got my first one last night from M&S/BP:
1 blueberry & almond pastry
greek yog with granola and mango and passion fruit
4x choc eclairs
1x spaghetti & meatballs meal
1 x chicken arriabatta ready meal
1 x cauliflower cheese
very impressed. We only live in a little town so not much choice, but am going to visit my parents in a bigger town in the West Country tomorrow so will see what I can get there!

Ok I’ve gone mad. I just looked on the app and there were loads of things available.

a vegetarian Breakfast from a greene king (rated 4.6)
a vegetarian breakfast from a Toby carvery (no ratings yet)
a normal breakfast from a Toby carvery (3.5)

AND then some bags from a hipster brownie place have gone up as well so I’ve ordered two of those as my mom will be all over them.

im torn between the highly rated veggie breakfast or the standard one with a 3.5 rating.

I've got another Starbucks bag booked for when DH finishes work at 8.30. Hoping it's not all egg again lol.

These are the brownies. They aren’t too bad but much like Millie’s cookies, I wouldn’t dream of paying full price!

My Caffè Nero one got cancelled on the way to collect it. Not impressed.

Excellent haul for me today - £3.30 from my local co-op and got £21 worth of stuff:

Large trifle
2 packs of vegan pies
3 (freezable) shepherds pies
Large New York cheesecake

I ordered 3 and I made 7 dinners out of it!

They were 4.50!
i got two boxes coz I’m pretty sure you can freeze them, and then mentioned it to my mom who made me get her two as well…

This was the greene king breakfast one today, for 2.79.
it wasn’t too bad. But then I ruined it by getting a ‘magic pints’ one and paid 5.50 for five pints of mild 🤢

I booked a bag from Pret for 2pm today and they emailed me at 1:45pm to cancel it and refund me!
So disappointed as this was my first time and I didn't realise this could happen - had not eaten breakfast or lunch due to expecting the bag at 2pm and also put back my trip to the shops when I wanted to go early this morning really...does this happen often?

Toby carvery do too good to go bags and they're brilliant

Think I have had about 2-3 cancelled out of 70 ish I have collected.

One was a pret and I have only had about 4 of them.

5 custard donuts
A pain au chocolate and a steak bake for £2.59
Unbelievable value.
I've frozen the croissant and donuts. Lunch sorted for tomorrow

I have done a couple..

Mlies cookies- i got.5 muffins and a cheese scone.. I think i paid £3.99

Then bubble tea and got 2 latge bubble teas. I think that was about £5

Starbucks yesterday:

mozzarella pesto and tomato panini
smores cupcake

very happy!

Sadly very little around here worth having it for. Starbucks, Spar and another corner shop type place. Oh and Gregs.

If I extend it a bit futher I get a carvery place but can't collect til 9.15.

DD used to have it active for the catering halls at her uni and often got a full dinner with plenty of veg for £3, which she was very happy with.

Ive booked a Gorillaz one for£5 for tomorrow. I think they give more variety than the usual. They are genarally so carby so no good if you are on your own who needs six doughnuts?😃
