New thread for sharing Gousto recipes

I enjoyed the last Gousto thread but it seems to have disappeared so thought I would start a new one.
Anyone had a box this week?
I have had the Goan style basa and spinach curry which was really good. Also had the pork with bubble and squeak mash and the sesame hoisin chicken. All have been lovely so far. Smile Just the Thai red curry to go now which I am looking forward to.

Well, there was no mustard in the pack (and I had none of my own in for some reason) so it was, erm, not mustardy.
I was getting ready to go out so I just made it without it, and it was more of a creamy sauce, but nice enough

Did you complain about the missing mustard? I have had a few things missing or replaced with totally different ingredients recently

Yes, and received a £6 refund.
I had mince missing a while back and received a £10 refund. That was fine as I had time to nip out and get the mince before cooking, but with the mustard I only realised whilst I was making it

Wow, a £6 refund was good for the mustard. Was that a 4 person box? I only got £1 credit for my split curry powder.
It is annoying when you go to cook a meal and one of the key ingredients are missing though isn’t it?

Just had Chicken Tinga Tacos and they were amazing. Defo recommend

They are pretty good with the credit aren’t they? Still annoying when you have vital ingredients missing.
I think I have had the chicken tinga tacos before. I do love a taco!

Anyone had the Mexican feast? We have the veggie one and it was ok but a bit underwhelming.

Got an aperol spritz box the past two weeks though which is fab!

Oh was it not great? It looked really nice but had all sold out when I looked.

We have the roasted squash laksa with spicy cashew sambal currently cooking which sounds good!

I’ve ordered for this coming week Chicken and sweet potato poutine, Chettinad style chicken curry, Brazilian style chicken and coriander curry and Indian style fish and chips with curry sauce.

I’ve gone a bit overboard with the curry dishes this week (and chicken). Some weeks I seem to order very similar dishes without realising it 😯

Do you remember how you got your refund, who you contacted etc. I’m sure it used to be much easier to contact Gousto but all email addresses get undelivered messages back or no response. I did manage to speak to a customer service lady a good few weeks ago but have had no acknowledgement of my complaint or refund I was told I’d get. I feel Gousto have become difficult to contact whereas in their early days you could contact them easily. I’m wondering if they’ve been bought up since their origins?

I usually contact them through their live chat whenever I have any issues.

I've used the live chat through the website or, even easier, on the app you select 'problem with this box', chose missing ingredient and received an immediate credit
