Does anyone have a BeRo book?

I used to have a BeRo recipie book and I cannot find it anywhere. I want to make the strawberry jam muffins. Could anyone link me to a pic if they have it?

Mum had the 18th and I have the 26th edition (inherited). Tea loaf is a favourite but I don't make it often enough

Ooh is there a recipe for walnut cake in it? I used to make one when I was a teenager and the recipe was off the side of a bag of flour. Never been able to replicate it.

I couldn't remember what "my" version looked like until I saw your picture. I recognised it instantly.

@nakedavengerreturns so glad you posted, that is the one we had at home too but I didn't see it on the Be-Ro website. What edition is it and can you still but it?

On the Be-Ro website, the second image (the one on the left) is 'mine'. My mother and grandmother had identical copies.

@Lordfrontpaw. I used to have that book but it got lost in a move. Could you take a photo of the Madeira cake recipe please? It was my favourite and I have never found one that matches it

Mine is also on the sofa next to me, although I must admit I’ve never done these muffins. Might give them a go now!

@Evilcat I’ll pull it out tomorrow for you / that’s my sisters favourite cake and another sister always makes one for her when she visits! Remember when fairy cakes and butterfly cakes were the thing? this was before muffins!

I wish they would bring out a version with ALL the recipes in, from over the years.

I replaced an old lost one with the newest edition but the recipes weren't the same at all. Luckily I found the old version again :)

I'm going hunting on ebay for older versions.
