I've got the diet plan & the book of 'branded sin free food' which I'd be happy to pass on to anyone who would make (good !) use of it.

Contact me via Mumsnet if you're interested

deegward · 18/01/2004 17:29

Don't know about anyone else, but I am prepared to kill everyone at Sw for changing the syns values. My good old liver & bacon is now 4 syns I ask you!!!

Any how being trying to stick to plan this week as lost 1lb at weigh in last week. (thought I had lost 2!)

Good luck to all, going to have a massive stir fry tonight yum yum

WideWebWitch · 18/01/2004 19:03

Lisa78, I'm seeing a 'bollocks' theme running through your posts this weekend

fairydust · 18/01/2004 22:07

well had a another fairly good week this week - once again feel as though i've wasted most of my syns on things that have changed and not jealised till i've eaten them.

Next week i will check syn value before i eat.

Weigh in 2-morrow night.

Hope you've all had a good week

Good luck for tonight fairydust.

Lisa78, how many syns in a b***k ?

I too am totally fed up with sin/syn value changes. all very confusing, and very annoying, am constantly having to check my books.

Momof2 · 19/01/2004 16:24

Had feta cheese and olive salad today (home made no dressing)
Does any one know if olives ok? (Had about 5 sliced up)
Anyway it was really tasty and if it is ok then I can see this becoming my lunchtime fodder for the duration

fairydust · 19/01/2004 16:39

black/ green olives 7 olives = 1syn - so not a bad choice at all.

OP posts:
fairydust · 19/01/2004 16:40

mean't to say that's on both green and red days

green/ black 7 olives = 1 syn

Momof2 · 19/01/2004 16:42

Thanks very much Fairydust, looks like I'll be eating this every lunch time! Was really tasty especially as I am not keen on salad!

fairydust · 19/01/2004 16:50

can't say i've ever tried them -

I've got birds eye plum tomoatoes with chicken and blackpepper for tea with a jacket pot (after weigh in of course) 7 syns but you do get to breasts in that so might share or i might not.

OP posts:
Momof2 · 20/01/2004 09:37

Not going to a class, I was going before Christmas, but wasn't very inspired by the lady running it. I managed to lose about a stone in 10 weeks, which I was really pleased with, but over Christmas put back on half a stone!!!!! So I still have about a stone to go to target, and this week - having just weighed on the work scales I have stayed the same Will need to try harder and stop eating ferrero roche that I got

Momof2 · 20/01/2004 09:38

BTW fantastic about losing 8 pounds in 2 weeks, you must be really pleased
Send me slim thoughts please for this week!

Kayleigh · 20/01/2004 11:02

Fairydust, you are on a roll !! 8lbs in 2 weeks is brilliant. You must feel fantastic.

I am off to get weighed at lunchtime. Have had a good week so hoping for 2lbs.

By the way, Fry Light have got a new spray out which is free on both days. Think it was in this months magazine. It's a butter spray, It has a really buttery taste. Used it for scrambled egg at weekend and they were fab. You can really taste the butter. Got it in Tesco where all the fry light stuff is next to the oils.

fairydust · 20/01/2004 14:50

Kayleigh- How did u do???

OP posts:
Kayleigh · 20/01/2004 14:58

Oh, fairydust, I bloody well stayed the same.
Am upset though because I know I've been good but I do know from past experience that it will (hopefully) come off next week.

And being an everyday weigher at home (naughty, I know!) I KNOW I've lost weght on my scales.

fairydust · 20/01/2004 15:07

i'm still proud of you.

I known you've been good so hopfully next week will be a bumper week.

keep smiling and please don't give up now - i'm here for you as i'm sure u will be for me when it happens and got a feeling it will be next week.

love fairydust xxx

fairydust · 20/01/2004 15:09

throw the scales away at home they only depress you.

OP posts:
Kayleigh · 20/01/2004 15:16

thank you fairydust, if i feel myself slipping I'll read your post and it'll keep me going.

Throw my scales away, are you mad woman, i'd die. What would I do first thing in the morning. My life would be completely awry (I think I may have a problem !!)

My name is Kayleigh and I'm a compulsive weigher....

fairydust · 20/01/2004 16:14

i use to go and weigh myself every morning at boots - luckly the boots we have now we've moved doesn't ahve them

and i will not allow scales in the house we had them before and i got as though every time i had something to eat i'd weigh myslef which isn't good.

OP posts:
Momof2 · 20/01/2004 16:29

Fairydust - that is exactly how I got - I would weigh myself before eating and then think if I don't eat this then I won't put that weight on. Very scary state of mind as I was starving myself.

Kayleigh · 20/01/2004 16:37

I don't think I could ever starve myself - i love my food too much.
I do weigh every day, but only first thing in the morning. Have been doing it forever - at least 20 years, so can't see me changing now.
And I don't weigh if we are away for the weekend, or on holiday, although I get a bit jittery if it is longer than a week !

fairydust · 20/01/2004 16:59

god no i'd never starve love food far to much
