Michael - The Film 2026

Wanted to start a thread about the new Michael Jackson film, just got home from watching it!

I don’t know why the critics are slating it, I absolutely loved it! Yes, it didn’t show his whole life picture but I think people are forgetting this was just showing one era of it … there is no way you could fit his life story into a 2 hour film!

What’s your thoughts if you’ve seen it ???

There has to be a sequel. The film is only part 1 and says TBC at the end! That was always the plan, regardless of how it did at the box office.

The movie doesn't even hit Japan until next month. I reckon it'll get to a billion then 😃

What evidence was overwhelming considering he was found not guilty in a court of law?

I keep seeing the same lies repeated on here about the drawing of his genitals matching whereas the police report clearly states Jordan claimed Michael was circumcised and he was not. I also find it interesting that Jordan refused to testify twice, refused to take part in leaving Neverland, cut all ties with his parents and filed for emancipation from them in 1994 and his dad committed suicide a few months after Michael died, Jordan did not attend the funeral.

Give me evidence that is fact, not the same rumours repeated over and over. The court files are available for anyone to read if they really want to. It shows that Gavin claimed to be abused on specific dates that Michael

It shows that Gavin claimed to be abused on specific dates that Michael wasn’t at Neverland and this was proven by flight logs and tour schedules. It also showed that Gavins mum had a history of financial exploitation and she was in fact charged with welfare fraud after the trial. This is why he was found not guilty, there was no evidence he had done anything a lot of evidence that the ‘victims’ were lying.

And what fountain of knowledge oh wise one,do you have that wasn't presented at the trial? What do you know that they didn't? 🙄Let's hear it 🤔

If you're a fan I'm sure you're already aware of the mountain of circumstantial evidence that this man was a perverted creep and you're choosing to ignore it, so not much point me repeating it here.

It will easily get there, it’s now made $846 million. Moving into the billion dollar box office territory also means it will be one of the top 50 biggest films in history.

I watched the Michael film twice, absolutely loved it! Jaafar is fantastic! Can’t wait for the 2nd movie

Saw it 6 times at the cinema and last night at home. I have a feeling the 2nd movie won't be going ahead. Hope I'm wrong though. I just don't know how they can do a second without mentioning the allegations. And if they don't,they'll be accused of ignoring it. Not that I believe for one minute he was guilty but I'm.not sure how it would feature? It definitely won't be as upbeat as the first 😔

I’ve been able to watch at home, it’s such an uplifting film! I also don’t believe the allegations , it’s so nice to see so many enjoy Michael Jackson music again! He should be celebrated! He did so much good and suffered so much

I feel like his music is everywhere again at the moment. It's like when I was a kid growing up!
