The lovely people at Twentieth Century Fox have given us a pile of DVDs to giveaway and we thought it was a nice chance to pull together your favourite and best DVDs for the whole family.

We all have snuggly DVD days evenings and with April showers on the horizon, we thought it would be great to hear about your best loved films to share.

What family friendly films do you watch over and over again?

Is there a great film for children that you don't mind watching with them or even better a film that will keep them transfixed when you need five minutes?

Share your suggestions on the thread and we will pick a name out of a hat on Tuesday 10th March for one lucky winner to get a whole bundle of DVDs.

The Ice age collection there fantastic family movies

Studio Ghibli's are big favourites in our house - esp Ponyo, My neighbour Totoro and Spirited Away - they really seem to talk about such big emotional ideas that the children go back to them for years & still get lots out of them. We've probably been watching them for 5 years or so now, and ever I'm not bored of them

Otherwise - Despicable Me and How to Train Your Dragon - again, both stand up to multiple re-watching!

We've loved Big Hero 6 & Paddington at the cinema recently, so looking forwards to adding those to our collection too.

Cars (if I've watched that once, I've watched it 500 times with no exaggeration)

The Lego movie works pretty well for all our family.

In my opinion there is no better family film than Hook :)

Annie and The Wizard Of Oz are the two most watched films here :-)

The Borrowers, film with John Goodman. It was really great to watch although I didn't have my son's capacity to watch it over again the very moment it finished. Must have snuggled and watched it so many times. It was such a relief that the Sooty phase had passed hahaha!

We all absolutely love home alone 1 and 2 and watch them every Christmas! We love anything Disney too such as the tigger movie!

Willow; might be a few years old but it's fantastic

We love ET and tThe Railway Children here. They were coincidentally the only films I watched as a child :-)

My favourite family movies are Up, Maleficent, Elf, A little princess

We love Up, and How To Train Your Dragon. If we're feeling a bit retro, the BFG animation is magical.

Cars was a huge favourite in our house when the DC were younger. Each Christmas we watch The Sound of Music together, they moan a little when I tell them it's on but enjoy it once we are all snuggled up.

Mrs Doubtfire is the all round family favourite but Frozen is my granddaughters favourite

The Incredibles keeps our whole family entertained again and again!

My favourite films ever are the Ice Age films - every character is fun and lovable.

My boys are addicted to Despicable me 1 and 2 - they love it!
