The lovely people at Twentieth Century Fox have given us a pile of DVDs to giveaway and we thought it was a nice chance to pull together your favourite and best DVDs for the whole family.

We all have snuggly DVD days evenings and with April showers on the horizon, we thought it would be great to hear about your best loved films to share.

What family friendly films do you watch over and over again?

Is there a great film for children that you don't mind watching with them or even better a film that will keep them transfixed when you need five minutes?

Share your suggestions on the thread and we will pick a name out of a hat on Tuesday 10th March for one lucky winner to get a whole bundle of DVDs.

Good luck.

Matilda is my 5 year olds favourite. He also favours the little mermaid, frozen, labyrinth and tangled. My 8 year old won't watch films over again, but he did like the Harry Potters, and the Percy Jackson films.

Homeward Bound is one my daughter and I both love and at Christmas it has to be Jack Frost over and over and ....

Alidoll · 06/03/2015 16:59

Daughter (5) loves Barbie and the Popstar (as we can both sing along to the songs) and of course Frozen is up there too.

But can't watch Woolly and Tig anymore...drives me mad as seen every episode at least 30 times...each arghhhhhh!

night at the museum we all love!

chevronstripes · 06/03/2015 18:38

My choice would be Shrek, Madagascar or How to train your Dragon

DS1 would go for 101 Dalmatians or any of the Alvin and the Chipmunk trilogy

DS2 would probably go for Despicable Me or Stuart Little

We're also suckers for anything involving lost or heroic pets Grin

deanhead1 · 06/03/2015 18:43

I'll always have a soft spot for the little mermaid as it was the first movie DD watched all the Way through.
We got a DVD called Laura's star, The whole family loved it.

Our favourite family film is a little known film from the loathe, great Robin Williams called 'RV'. It is, quite simply, hilarious, and just makes us laugh out loud every time.
