Hi girls, i have started a new thread for us all. The other was too long. Hope you all find it.

Hi all, sorry I have not been on - having a mare with my computer. ds has downloaded explorer8, but if it doesn't like the look of a page, it just closes it! That means anything with a header to click! I don't know how I managed to get it up now - am typing very quickly!

It comes up with that Drwatson bug spotter thing. Grrr

I have been looking for my (i think) system restore to take it back a date and try to get rid of it? But I can't find it!

Hope you are all ok, have read old posts quickly.

Greyskull - am impressed you are running! well done! I did 6.25miles tonight!

I am going to ask girls at work to sponsor me for Great North, but i can't decide what charity to do it for! Possibly anthony Nolan, Leaukemia, or macmillan - any suggestions?

Dh still working away - 4 weeks to go!

OP posts:
blissa · 22/08/2009 14:23

Hi moose, hope you get your computer fixed soon.

When is the North Run? My friend set up a link to a sponsorship page on facebook when we did the Race for Life last year. If the North run has online sponsorship, you maybe able to do that, and then we could sponsor you too

Dp is still away too. He was hoping to be back this morning, but he is not being loaded until this afternoon in Paris.

mooseloose · 22/08/2009 22:36

It's still crashing!

Where do i find system restore?
Great North is Sept 20th - will be tele too!

Hi moose,
it has been so quiet on here, hopefully it is a good sign that everyone is coping with life.
I have found that the boys help to keep me on an even keel and when I get into a panic it is hard to stay in my own nightmare when a gorgeous 2 year old brings you a book and site on your knee.

Having an ok time at the moment, sending happy calm vibes to everyone.

mooseloose · 26/08/2009 22:06

Hi Grey, you paint a sweet picture of your baby! Agree that people happy and busy so not online. Maybe the school hols have something to do with it too! Mine go back 8 Septemeber, so just cramming the 'to do' things in'!
You sound brighter - hope the counselling sending you the right way?

Hi Girls,

Not been on for a while, been missing you all

I have been having a good week this week, but my hubby went back to work today and we are not going to see him for 5 weeks now I have been doing okay anxiety wise, its been a little odd the way I have been feeling, hard to explain

Last week had a terrible week with my hubby, was so close to asking him to leave as he was peeing me off so much! I didn;t want that to be the outcome, but was feeling a bit like I had no other option! Anyway, we had a good talk last Sat and got everything off my chest so that cleared the air and refreshed our relationship! It was v nice

My DS has already started back with nursery, another reason why I haven't had a minute. He is loving it this term so everything is good! My little boy is getting all grown up! He is like a moody teenager at times! lol!

I have just finished reading the book twilight, anyone read it??? I was fantastic, I loved every minute of it, highly recommend to anyone who hasn;t read it!

Anyway, both my little mites are still up and needing to go to bed!

Hope u are all well!
Love and happy vibes to all!

Blissa - sorry I wasn;t around to wish u happy hols! Hope u are having a fab time

mooseloose · 27/08/2009 22:28

morning ladies,
have decided to take control of the house, have rejoined the fly thread, I always feel much better when the house is in order.

I have total admiration for those of you who cope for weeks on end without your DP/DH, DH does so much with the boys I really wouldn't cope at all!

Hi Clayre, sorry to hear you have been suffering, definately not a pivate party (unless you are a DM journalist looking for a story ) My boys don't go back till next Thursday... I am counting the days!!!

YommyMommy · 28/08/2009 17:19

Hello again girls,

Hi moose, I am glad u are coping so well with dh being away! Bet u will be glad when hi is home though. It can get pretty tough on ur own! Know what u mean about the early nights! I am much worse if i've not had a good sleep!

BTP, I know what u mean about the house! I totally gutted mine yesterday de-husband'd, lol! Its all tidy again makes me much happier coming home to a tidy house! Not done much today! Had to go get new stablisers for DS1 bike as the whell fell off the pair that came with the bike! I was angry as although we bought the bike last year he has only really started going on it properly this summer, wee took it back to halfords but they said there was nothing they could do!.

Welcome clayre, always nice to have a new member, although sorry you are suffering like the rest of us with anxiety! Not a nice thing to have Anyway, musn't dwell what will be will be! Lots of lovely ladies here to help u through! look forward to hearing for u again!

Hi to everyone else!

Just getting dinner on the go! DS2 had been fed and watered, but he is going to be a wee grumpy bum from now til dinner time as has had little sleep today! ! Roll on 8!

Hope u are all well

mooseloose · 28/08/2009 19:17

hi all, hello Clayre.

I know what you mean about being tidy - does make you feel better. But at the moment as soon as I do one room, I walk out, and it explodes again! Bloomin Kids!

Am debating having an early night or a run. Don't want to but need get the miles in. Am really tired. x

OP posts:
YommyMommy · 28/08/2009 19:57

Ahhh...Ds2 in bed! DS1 still out playing, but its the weekend! Thank goodness! Don;t need to worry about getting everything ready for nursery tomorrow

So what did u decide on Moose? Run or early night? Been meaning to ask you how things have been going at work? Not heard u talk about it for a while!

mooseloose · 28/08/2009 21:24

Hi Yommy, did 5 miles, and am now sat in cosy dressing gown with hot choc!

Work is ok. Just putting up with it really. I managed my usual hours about three weeks ago. I only do 2.5 days anyway, so i am lucky about that. I have to say I am ready to walk out the door at the end of the day - couldn't stay a minute more!

It's okay. I still have problems going in. Most weeks I've started to panic by the time I reach my desk - can't breathe and am light headed. The girls working by me are lovely and make me talk about nonsense and the children, and that distracts me. Still don't like to move about much - sometimes struggle to get back from the coffee machine . But it's getting easier. Am on hol this week and next week. In a week, and then off another week - I have lots of hol to use from when I was sick - I was off six months.

Thanks for asking. x

evening all,

am feeling really edgy this evening, had a wierd dream when I fell asleep this afternoon on the sofa.. I dreamed my therapsit moved her chair in our sessions so it was directly next to mine and not opposite with a reasonable gap.

It has made me shake just typing this, I woke up shaking and haven't been able to budge the anxiety all afternoon. What on earth is all that about!""

mooseloose · 30/08/2009 20:22

That is odd grey - and you must have woken in the middle of it and thats why its so vivid still. Do you feel relaxd with therapist usually - not awkward?

Do your breathing excercises, and try to drop and relax your neck - that is what helps me the most. Hot choc and early night? Outnumbered on later - that is good for a laugh!

I dreampt last week that I was great friends with Princess Margaret - it stayed with me all week. How odd!

OP posts:
mooseloose · 30/08/2009 20:25

I had nap on settee today - unheard of!

I cooked a big dinner - and thats what i blamed it on! Really tired today - have had a chill out day all day - was really nice actually. I just de cluttered a few more cupboards and boys bedroom etc. Feel good for it. Am now having a cuppa and a fudge choc bar to round off the day!

I need run tomorrow though! Weighed myself today and lost 5 pounds since last time - gaes ago I think!

YommyMommy · 30/08/2009 20:37

Evening Girls,

Hope u are feeling better this evening! That is a little weird though! I had a bad dream last night too and when I woke I felt shaky and a but panicy, but finally got back ove rto sleep.

Moose, sounds like you have had a good day! I am shatterd too, just about to head up to bed! Well done on loosing 5 pounds, could do with loosing some weight myself!

Was going to try the special kay diet tomorrow, but not sure its wise! Will see how I feel when I get up in the morning! Early start tomorrow, nursery for DS1. Woo Hoo!

Goodnight all!
P.S. Have to tell you all about my day on Sat, will type tomorrow! x x x

candyfluff · 31/08/2009 11:33

hi all
and to clayre and sprouts
you are very welcome to join us xxx

ive now finished with my hunky therapist much to my disdain !!!
he was the best looking guy ive ever seen

im so much better than i was anxiety wise ,still have the odd off day when it gets to me but we found the key to coping was to stop doing the safety behaviours which for me were reading all the time ,keeping busy ,never resting or sitting down for long .
so my home work is to rest more and when i feel anxious just to sit down or lay down and just let it pass over .
im so looking forward to the kids going back to school its untrue the two older ones go on friday and little man starts on monday
woohoo

how are we all?

blissa · 31/08/2009 14:28

Hi girls

We couldn't get booked onto the campsite for an extra week so we had to come home on Saturday. We spent the day at the beach and then travelled back in the evening, got home around half 11 saturday night. Bit disappointed we didn't get to have 2 weeks but, tbh, the weather wasn't all that great and it was nice to come home and have a hot bath!

Now I just have all the washing to catch up on- on load 5 today! I also understand about a tidy house making you feel better, I am going to blitz this place when the dcs go back.

blissa · 31/08/2009 14:40

I'm glad you sorted things with your dh Yommy. I've felt exactly the same about sometimes wanting them to leave, just think it would make things easier sometimes especially when he is being stubborn, but I wouldn't be without him really I fancy reading Twilight after reading about it on here, might look for it in the library after I've finished Pride and Prejudice.

Hope you're ok today Greyskull, dreams are weird and it's funny how they affect you.

Well done on the 5 pounds moose! It's good to hear you are managing at work, and that the people you work with help to distract you. What happened with your managers wanting you to do work more hours?

Sorry you don't get to see your hunky chap any more candy . You sound very confident about it finishing, I'm glad it has helped.

blissa · 31/08/2009 14:46

I've been ok whilst away. I haven't been wearing my compression stockings, I wore them on my way down to Cornwall, but I didn't on the way back. I was nervous about sitting in the car for 5 hours but we stopped half way and I walked around, and then kept moving my feet and legs in the car.

The girls go back to school on Thursday and ds goes back on Monday. Dd2 really missed not having a tv while we were away! They are having their fix of it today- still in their pjs watching back to back Sarah Jane on cbbc! At least it lets me get on with the washing!
