morning all,
I keep having really disturbing dreams..
they are staying with me. am still shaking now after lastnight's end of the world dream

I am going to try to find some time in the next hour to sit quietly and try to calm myself but it is really getting me down!

mooseloose · 02/09/2009 09:53

I dreampt I had a really painful sting on my back - and when I looked in the mirror the bee was there, it had burrowed down - perhaps its the weather, rather than our fragile mental health???

I never normally dream like this. I woke up feeling the pain of the sting!

Unless it is school holiday induced?

YommyMommy · 02/09/2009 10:25

Morning Girls,

Thats really weird about the dreams girls, I hope u feel better as the day goes on BTP!! Moose, that dream sounds horrible! I had a good sleep for a change last night, first good sleep since my hubby went away!

I have hardly had a minute to myself to come on here n chat! My darling little DS2 has turned into a monster who wont give me a miunte to do anything! Honeslty, i can barly leave the room without him screaming after me. I feel like I am constantly at boiling point with the both of them DS1 can;t take No for an answer and never NEVER stops talking, lol! I guess thats no bad thing! Just annoying when he asks the same things over and over again! Atleast I have a wee break from him in the morning. DS2 got out fo bed the wrong side today, so has been narky since he got up. I decided to try him with a bottle n bed, thankfully it worked so having some much needed me time just now!

We are going to centre parcs on Monday, so have that to look forward to!

Hope you are all well!

Morning ladies

Hope you've managed to relax a bit Greyskull. I've had a few weird drems lately too, I had one on holiday which was about Michael Jackson having an evil plan to take over the world and had brain washed everyone but me and a few friends. I was going round in a spiderman like costume going to defeat him, I mean what's that about??!

The way I deal with dreams is to tell myself that if I dreampt it, it won't come true. I've had awful dreams in the past about loved ones dying and waking up very anxious and upset.

I wasn't too well yesterday, had a very bad stomach, feel a bit better today and have just managed a piece of toast. Dp is now lying in bed saying he feels sick. It annoys me because when I'm poorly he basically ignores me and goes off to work and I have to deal with the dcs however when he is sick he lies in bed and cannot possibly do anything around the house. Anyone else's like that?

blissa · 02/09/2009 10:34

Hi yommy

Glad ds2 has gone back to bed and you've got some valuable me time. Which Centreparcs are you going to? My sister went last year and loved it

YommyMommy · 02/09/2009 16:54

Hi Blissa,

Sorry to hear you were poorly yesterday! How is DP feeling now? MY DH is exactly the same as urs! When I am sick no one bothers, when his is sick its the end of the world! Bloody Men! lol!

We are going to the winfells centre parks! We This is our 4th time, we love it so much. lol! We were there in feb, the kids kove it! If u book plenty of time in advance u get brilliant prices! I am soo looking forward to the time away!

Guess what girls, I have a job interview tomorrow! Woo Hoo! Its a full time job, but I am willing to take it at the moment as I hate being so skint, especially with the run up to Christmas and my little ones first birthday Can;t believe how fast my little ones are growing! Anyway, the offices are literaly round the corner from my house, so means I can pop home for lunch n see my wonderful little boys :D Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Will come on tomorrow n let u know how it goes!

Have a nice evening everyone!

blissa · 02/09/2009 17:25

YAY for the interview!

What is the job? It sounds perfect being so close. Hope it goes well, good luck.

Dp has D&V, seems to be much worse than I was yesterday, thankfully I wasn't sick.

blissa · 02/09/2009 17:26

Keep meaning to say- haven't seen morningsun for a while. Hope she is ok

mooseloose · 02/09/2009 17:55

I have my fingers crossed for you yommy. have a nice break too - two nice things would be good!

When we went to center parc I scorched my bum on the water slides - but we did spend a lot of time in there!

Pouring rain here.

The dreams can't be true - remember I dreamed that Princess Margaret was my friend - ha ha!

Hi girls

Not having a very good day. It's 6 weeks now since I had the termination and my periods still haven't really materialised. I have had a bit of very light bleeding since last friday. They told me if I hadn't had a period by 4 weeks to do a test, so I've done one. There is a faint positive line.

Now I'm trying to be rational, I've read that the pregnancy hormone can stay in your body for a while afterwards, but I'm scared. We had a bit of an accident whilst on holiday- the condom came off. Dp noticed pretty quickly. So I'm worried that that has resulted in a positive test (although it was only a week ago) or that they didn't complete remove the cluster of cells. What if I need to have something done again? I can't do this

I've rung my gp but can't get an appointment til tomorrow

YommyMommy · 03/09/2009 13:53

Hi Blissa,

No wonder you are having a bad day! I'm sure it will be nothing serious! I don;t think and accident a week ago would show up positive already?! As you say it might just be taking that long for the hormone to leave ur body! It take six weeks after u have a baby thats why your mood levels can change so much and why the test u for PND at 6 weeks! (Thats what I was told by my HV anyay). Hope u are okay {{{{{{{{{Hugs}}}}}}}}}

Have my interview in 30 mins, feeling sick now! . Will post later to let you know how it had gone!

Hope u are all well!

Yommy thinking about you... hpoe it is all going well.

blissa · 03/09/2009 14:41

Thanks yommy.

I've spoken to the after care nurse from bpas and she seems to think it's unlikely to be anything left over, especially as all sickness and tenderness disappeared soon after. She also said that the hormone normally goes around 4 weeks but it is possible that it is still present. So many sites I've googled say it can stay for a few months so hopefully that's all it is. The line is very faint.

The estate agent has also rung to say the landlord is putting our rent up, bring on the wine tonight!

Anyway enough of my moaning. Hope the interview is going well, fingers are crossed for you.

Hi Greyskull, hope you're ok.

I'm off to pick dds up

blissa · 03/09/2009 19:49

How did you get on yommy?

To top off my day dd2 has started being sick, time to open my wine.

candyfluff · 03/09/2009 20:19

hi all - blissa ,are you ok ,id be shocked too if i had a faintly positive pg test.
take one every few days to reassure yourself.
i feel very unwell at the moment ,have a uti. blergh

blissa · 03/09/2009 20:27

Thanks yommy.

I'm ok, just back in limbo. Hope your uti clears up soon, are you on antibioticss?

candyfluff · 03/09/2009 20:32

yes i am just got them this evening
are you ok ?

YommyMommy · 03/09/2009 20:40

Hi Girls,

God Blissa you really are having a shite day! Do you think your DD has picked up bug you & DP had? Thats a shame! How is the wine going down? Has ur rent gone up a lot, were u expecting a rise? Thats a nightmare!

Candy - Sorry to hear you are sick too! Hope ur uti clears up soon!

My interview went okay, although as you always do I am now sitting thinking about how I could have better answered some of the questions! Not sure what will happen as its hard to judge sometimes with these things! I am a qualified QS, but the job I have gone for is a maintenace officer for a local housing association so its not too much different from what I am used to! Its sound really good, so will have to keep my fingers crossed! Won't find out about it til tail end of next week!

Going to head to bed soon, and hopefully get a good sleep tonight - stress free! lol !

Thanks for all your good luck wishes today! I am glad to know you all x x x

blissa · 04/09/2009 10:31

Glad the interview went well yommy, I hope they don't keep you hanging on too long.

I definately think we've brought a bug back with us- first me, then dp and now dd2- will just have to see if dd1 and ds get it over the weekend. Dd1 is at school so I have the other 2 at home today. Dd2 hasn't been sick since last night but she looks very pale and doesn't want to eat.

The rent has gone up by £50 a month. The landlord originally wanted an extra £100 but we deal with a lovely lady at the estate agents and she told him that was a bit steep! We can't really complain as we pay well under the value he could charge for this place, and this is the first increase in 5 years.

blissa · 04/09/2009 10:35

Feeling a bit more psitive today. Am telling myself that is the hCG hormone left from before. My plan is to do another test next week and then go fom there. Dp has been to the dr this morning to see about a vasectomy- it should take between 4-6 weeks. It means a lot that he's done it, as he was against it before, but now after all that has happened, he has decided it's for the best. I do love him really .

Hope you're feeling ok today candy and that the antibiotics kick in quickly

blissa · 04/09/2009 12:26

I have an appointment to see a councillor at 3pm(great time!) on tuesday.
