candyfluff · 27/07/2009 17:26

hi yommy - yeah i think its coz its causing me to tackle the problem -not sure just feels so crappy at the moment got another session on wednesday.
just finding thekids so demanding and wish i could get away from the whinging and whinning, its doing my head in

YommyMommy · 27/07/2009 21:01

Having the kids at home full time is hard work! My 3 year old ould whing and whine for Scotland, lol!

Just take each day as it comes and think tomorrow is another day! I always sing that song in my head "what a difference a day makes...a little 24 hours" lol! Don;t know any other words!

Chin up Candy and everyone else! Tomorrows another day! :D

Hope you all have a nice evening! My DS1 has become obsessed with the song from the lion king - 'the lion sleep tonight' so I have to let him watch in on youtube AGAIN before we go to bed!

Goodnight x x x

P.S. Blissa my hubby works on Holland quite a lot too! At least they both have work at the moment :D

YommyMommy · 28/07/2009 20:50

Hi Girls,

How have you all been today?

how have you been feeling today Candy? Are you nervous about ur session tomorrow? Do you feel you are getting any good out of it? Or have you been feeling to anxious to notice? Have you been doing your 'homework'? I have my last session with my counsellor on thurs afternoon, I think it has help in a weird sort of way by just putting things in my head and making me realise that nothing bad will happen to me the anxiety will pass and I have to believe in me more!

How are you today Blissa? Did your DP get away okay? How long will he be away for?

How are you morning?

I have had a good day, even though it started off a bit panicky when I was bathing the boys! Had a nice afternoon though went out for lunch then to the mall. I am looking forwad to getting to bed tonight, DS2 got up at 6.30 this morning . Have to stay in tomorrow to wait on my new flooring I have decided to do the livingroom up to cheer myself up! Just a coat of paint to cheer the place up a little!

DS1 is out playing so going to get him in soon for bed!

Hope everyone else is well!

Hi all,

Dp left at 6am yesterday, yommy, I spoke to him last night and he had dropped his load and was making his way to Belgium to pick up his return load. He probably won't be loaded til 4pm today so won't be home til late tonight or tomorrow morning. What colour are you going to do your livingroom? We rent our house, I can't wait til we get our own place so we can decorate and do it up our way, I'm so sick of magnolia!

Managed to get out yesterday, took dcs for a picnic at a nearby country park. My sister came with her boys, and my mum and dad too, so they had a lovely day. I was shattered and in bed asleep by half 9 last night. Don't feel very refreshed today though as ds wet the bed last night and was up at 6.15 this morning.

blissa · 29/07/2009 12:19

The pain and bleeding is easing off which is good. My sister was asking when I'm going for my blood tests yesterday and couldn't understand why I'm not rushing to get them done when I was so anxious to do so before. It's hard keeping the truth of what's gone on from them.

Having a lazy day today, have not long got dressed!

Hope you're all ok today xx

YommyMommy · 29/07/2009 16:17

Hey Blissa,

DP will be home before you know it :D Glad you got out yesterday and that the pain and bleeding has calmed down now! You will feel better with every passing day.

I am going to do my living room brown and cream with a touch of green to brighten it up a little. I just can't wait til its all done :D Wish we could afford a new sofa too, but its pointless when the kids are so little as its just gets drawn on, spilt on, wee'd on, lol! Its brown leather so have to keep the colours on the room similar. It will look better than it does at present which is the main thing!

Are you having another early night tonight with being up so early? My ds1 insists on getting up just after 7 every morning dispite not going to sleep til 10 most nights of the holidays! He has not had a nap today so hopefully he will be down a little earlier tonight!

I am just watching Malcom in the Middle just now, anyone else watch it? So funny!!!

blissa · 29/07/2009 17:37

Oh I'd love a brown leather sofa yommy
We have 2 huge (originally) cream fabric sofas, they look so filthy. We did look at replacing them a couple of years ago but like you say it's pointless while the dcs are little. In a way i'm glad we rent as they have trashed someone else's house and we don't have to redecorate it! Your colours sound lovely.

Won't have such an early night tonight, I like to watch Dragons Den, goes on til 10. Ds will be having an early night, he stayed up for an hour after I put him to bed last night so didn't go to sleep til around 8.30 and was still up early.

Never seen Malcom in the Middle, the dcs have been watching Alvin and the Chipmunks

candyfluff · 29/07/2009 20:18

evening all
have had my cbt session this afternoon ,went well- he has changed tack with me and instead of doing the breathing exercises which made me worse i have to just ride through the feelings of not being able to get enough breath in ,i am avoiding situations where i think i could make a fool out of myself, for example going to the cinema ,im going tomorrow night with a mate and he says i have to tell her whats going on with me because keeping it a secret will make me feel worse.
will be a big thing for me if i can get through it
im gonna need all the luck in the world.

hi yommy and blissa
wheres moose gone ?

blissa · 29/07/2009 20:26

Hi candy

Glad your seesion went well today. Do you feel more confident with the new strategy? What are you going to see tomorrow? I'm sure you will do fine. Have you not told anyone how you are feeling?

Moose is in Cornwall

candyfluff · 29/07/2009 20:38

lucky moose having a holiday i could do with one of those
not told many people ,scared they will think im a nutjob !!!
have a very hard time telling my dh how i feel aswell its causing a bad atmosphere in the house and i like it better when hes at work ,he stress's me out more.
would love to have a loving understanding dh
im hoping to go and see harry potter, i know if i can suceed at that then i can do anything -its been 4 years since ive been to the cinema ,i was pregnant with ds and i had a huge panic attack and kept going to the loo and missed half the film .
last night i found a relaxation video on you tube -yoga and it was fab and i felt so chilled out afterwards.
try it if you can get a few mins to yourself .
how are you blissa? has the pain and bleeding stopped?

YommyMommy · 29/07/2009 20:43

Blissa your couch sound like my once cream carpet! I am so sick of looking at it! U have the right idea about trashing someone elses house first, lol! Get ur own when the kids have moved out, lol! I love dragons den too! I am going to get DS1 in just before 9 and get to bed before it comes on! Can't believe you have ds in bed at 7.30, is he your youngest??? What time do the rest go down! Ur lucky

Hey candy, glad your session went so well today! And you will get through at the cinema! I go to the cinema quite a lot and once the initial panicky feeling is over I always enjoy the film! Harry Potter is a long movie so even if you get through half of that you will be doing great! Are you a harry Potter fan???

blissa · 29/07/2009 20:52

I know what you mean candy, my dp finds it very hard to understand. My dp is very much a get on with it sort, and doesn't think about things a s much as I do. At first I think he thought I wanted him to fix things for me, but once I explained that all I want him to do is listen, he has tried harder. He can think it's all bollocks, just don't make me feel stupid.

I'm sure your friend will be supportive, I hope you can enjoy the film. I did a relaxation cd mil gave me, I ended up falling asleep!

Oh I wish I could watch Dragons Den in bed yommy! Yes ds is my youngest, he's 3. He went down no probs tonight at 7.15. The girls are 5 and 8, I sent them up 20 minutes ago but they are still messing around up there. They'll drop off soon.

Dp isn't going to be home tonight, he has a flat tyre and still has to unload in Milton Keynes

YommyMommy · 29/07/2009 21:07

OMG my ds1 is 3 too and he is still out playing - so much for my plan! I am going to get a screaming match to bring him in which is why I am putting it off! Thats a shame about DP! Will he be shattered when he gets home? Hope he gets his tyre fixed soon!

My DH is quite supportive. But we don;t talk much about my anxiety and I just get on with it when he is around. Although I don;t think people really understand anxiety unless they ahev person experience.

Right I had better get my boy in! Before the neighbours start talking !

Speak to you all tomorrow! Hope you all have a good night!

blissa · 29/07/2009 21:18

candy sorry it's a bit late but hope it goes well at the cinema tonight

YommyMommy · 30/07/2009 20:32

Hi Girls,

Hope you are all having a nice evening! I am watching the home show and the guy on it is annoying the life out of me! Anyone else watching? The couple gave him 100k to do the work and now he is wanting 77k more! He is never able to do the work with the money the people have....sack him I say! I'll take the job and get the work done for them! Argh! Rant over!

Made it to the airport today with hardly a wobble I really need to believe in myself more. I just anticipate way too much!!!!

Candy, hope the cinema is going well! I am waiting with baited breath to hear you had a good time :D

Morning, how are you today? Did you get up to anything nice?

Blissa, hope you are healing with every passing day! Have you done anything nice today? Do you have dp back at home now??

Love n hugs to all x x x

morningsuncanslay · 30/07/2009 20:41

Hi Yommy well done on your airport trip

~not like me I'm a total wuss when it comes to motorway driving...am hoping to have a motorway lesson to overcome that soon.

We went to look at new cars today on the government scrappage scheme. Then we went to a family sports place where we did adventure golf and ds and dh went through a maze lol.

A great day but a bit spoilt by my dd being in a tizz when we got back she seems to be getting worked up and crying all the time~don't know if it's anxiety or depression or what but hope it passes soon, not sure what to do with her tbh

YommyMommy · 30/07/2009 21:13

Sounds like you had a lovely day out morning! What age is dd???

Did you manage to find a car? My dh wants to buy a new car too, but I want to have a part time job first before we commit to anything else finacially!

I don;t mind motor way driving! I would have driven anywhere before the darn anxiety took hold!

im feeling so good im taking 2 dc's swimming while my big son if off to cinema with his best mate.

morningsuncanslay · 31/07/2009 12:16

well done candy, really pleased for you

YommyMommy · 31/07/2009 12:44

Awe well done Candy!!!!!

So glad you had a wonderful time! There will be no stopping you now! lol!

How are you today morning???

I am good today despite being totally shattered. My DS1 has been up every night this week crying in the night! He is driving me nuts! Not sure what the heck its the matter with him! I think he has had far too many late nights to be honest! I am going to have to try to get him into a routine, but its so hard when all the other kids in the street are out playing til 10! Do you think its wrong to let a 3 yr old to stay out so late??? ! We live in a cul de sac where he is never out of sight. The other thing is that he still sleeps in my bed, we lift him in to his own when he is sleeping, but I would like to get out of this habit now as I think this could also be one of the reasons he isn;t sleeping to well! Its my own fault I know, but its going to be so difficult to get round it which is why I haven;t bothered trying! However, I feel like I want my bed back to have some me time before I go to sleep. It's something I don;t get much of when my dh is away from home!

I have my next door neighbours 2 boys today so have a house full! I am just about ti kick them out to play! lol!

Blissa,hope u are well!

Hi to everyone else!

blissa · 31/07/2009 17:44

Hi girls

Well done Candy it's lovely to hear you enjoyed last night. I hope it has given your confidence a boost. How was swimming today?

Dp got yesterday afternoon, he was shattered. I took the dcs to my mum and dads yesterday, we didn't get home til half 7.

Is your mil staying with you yommy? Well done on the airport run, I'm like you, I over analyse things and worry about what might happen. It will be hard work getting your ds1 to want to go sleep in his own bed at first, but he will get there pretty quickly. My ds didn't go up to bed until gone 9 last night and still kept getting up and telling me he didn't want to go to sleep.

I hope your dd is feeling better today morning. What sort of car are you hoping to get?

I've been doing some final cleaning on our caravan for if we ever get away in it. Then went food shopping with the dcs. My tummy feels a lot better and the bleeding seems to be coming to an end

xx
