Evening Ladies,

Had a much better day today. Went to shopping centre this morning - no panic in sight! 2 years ago shopping centre on a busy Sat would have been a big No, no! Funny how some days you have great days other totally pants! Oh well! Such is life!

Watching X factor - first time I have been looking forward to watching it this series really! Moose, been watching I'm a celeb - totally on the fence with Katie Price at the moment

Hope everyone is well, going to have a wee cuddle with DS, he is watching a DVD and looking for cuddles! Aren;t kids the best! Love them

Morning all ,

very anx today googled MC and Jaw C and now convinced i have it ....got to wait and see what x-ray results say from dentist .... although he was doing for decay on teeth but im convinced for other reasons ....
what if it is ?
im 37 non smoker dont drink much at all but do have heavly filled teeth and few missing at back .
feel so down ....also in tescos yesterday was picking up few bits and out of blue as walking round came over all wizzy and panicky clammy hands etc , rushed to till and paid grabbing a kit-kat on the way and eating as not eaten all day and it was 2 pm ,.... feeling very low and tired today .
cant get this C thing out of my head ...havent told anyone or DH as es had enough of me im sure and his birthday tomorrow so dont want to make him down ,

How is everyone els sorry for another rant -((

blissa · 22/11/2009 21:13

Hi ladies

mumof2000- did your dentist tell you exactly why he is doing the X-rays? Is it the same one you see every time? I am sure there is absolutely nothing wrong. Please please stop googling, I've done it and it really doesn't help. I hope you've felt better as the day has gone on. Happy birthday to your dh tomorrow.

Did you get anything nice yesterday Yommy? I hope you've had another good day today.

I fancy pilates moose, must do something to improve my fitness.

Have had a nice weekend here. Was woken up at 5 this morning by some very loud thunder, and it has been stormy all day.

Dd1 has been away with the brownies this weekend. We dropped her off on friday evening and picked her up this afternoon. She had a really good time, but has a bit of a cold and was really tearful at bedtime. I think she is just worn out and feeling crap with the cold. Don't know if she'll go to school tomorrow.

blissa · 22/11/2009 21:21

Watching I'm a sleb here too. I did feel for Katie the other night when she had to put her face in the gunk and the worms. It is getting pretty boring her doing all the trials, but she does well. I don't think we'll ever know the real Katie Price. I warmed to her the first time she was in the Jungle, but so much is written about her you never know what's true or not.

And JEdward have left the X Factor! They had grown on me, not sure who I want to win

mooseloose · 22/11/2009 22:29

Hi - I am watching jungle too. Fed up with KP now - she is obliterating everyone else. You just don't know what is an act and what isn't. Get her out of there!

Was shocked Jedward out - but they need to be.

M2000- try and have some me- time, a cuppa and a read, not a cuppa while you do jobs. Don't read things - they just scare you, and make you think about yoursekf too much....

Pilates ok, but didn't seem to do much. But i did feel chilled out

YommyMommy · 23/11/2009 10:16

Morning Ladies,

mumof2000 - Sorry to hear you are having a crappy time just now! Please stop googling - wosrt thing you can do!!! I doubt very much your doctor would be checking for things withyou telling you what he is checking for!!!If he thought for a minute you had mouth/jaw cancer he would send you for a referral straight away without wasting any time! Call the dental surgery, if you dentist is away they should still be able to give you results! {{{{{{Big Hugs}}}}}} Hope your day get better! x x x

Blissa, how is Dd1 today? Did she make it to school?? Glad she had a good weekend with brownies! I used to love going away with the guides when I was younger! Fond memories

Moose - Katie has left the building, lol! You'll be glad she is out now! Glad you are feeling more relaxed now!

Hi to everyone else!

I am feeling whacked today! Think I might be coming down with the cold that the boys have had for the past little while! I gutted my house yesterday! MIL's car is filled to the gunner with toys for skip and charity shops lol! (we have her car as she is on holiday!) Moved boys rooms about too, so they both look a little bigger now Weather is totally crap here again today! Showers are so heavy all got soaked on hte way to nursery! . DH is home this thursday coming

Anyway, hope you ae all well! Speak later x x x

mumof2000 · 23/11/2009 15:53

Thanks yommy xxx

Just called dentist grrrrr got hold of a very non understanding receptionist .... said he was in but will prob call tomorrow as hes busy .... i had a run in with her once before and she was as un hepfull then as is now .....i explained my anx etc then so she knows exactly who i am .....feel like crying now .... i almost did on the phone ...some people are so intolerant ..... she could have been a bit nicer to me or helpful , hope she doesn't suffer with anxiety one day hay !!!!

will just have to wait ... will call first thing if not had call tonight ...

still feeling crap ....xx

blissa · 23/11/2009 17:05

Oh mumof2000, I'm sorry you have had no luck today and that the receptionist wasn't very helpful. As Yommy said, I'm sure that if the dentist thought there was anything seriously wrong he would have discussed it with you. I hope he puts your mind at rest tomorrow.

I kept dd1 at home today Yommy. She's not really poorly but she's not right. I think she is just a a bit run down and tired. She does have a sore throat and a cough so I might keep her off tomorrow too. The weather has been awful here today too, and we have another warning for tonight. That 2 weeks had gone quickly, roll on thursday!

She's gone moose!! What is the point of her walking out now? This was the last trial the public could vote for. Oh well, at least the others will get a look in now.

YommyMommy · 23/11/2009 20:53

Evening Ladies,

Mumof2000, I think all receptionists who work for dentist or doctors have to have an attitude problem before the can qualify for the job! Hopefully your dentist will call you soon, if there was anything wrong I'm sure he would have been right on the phone to you!

Poor DD Blissa - hope she is back to herself tomorrow!

I feel like a terrible mummy tonight DS2 missed his afternoon nap so he cried A LOT after teatime and my stress levels were going through the roof. DS got sent to bed at 8 too as he was also driving me nuts He came down and I sent him back up in tears! He probably thonks he has done something wrong I just need some time to myself.

I am watching 'Africas Which Children', its very upsetting how some people can treat children! So, so sad! Things like that make me glad I live a western society!

Nearly time for i'm a celeb! How daft of Katie to walk out at this point. I think people were just starting to warm to her??

Goodnight everyone x x x

mumof2000 · 24/11/2009 09:04

im in such a state about to call again , had such a bad night sleep .... hope i dont get that receptionist again or i will cry .......F* i hate this feeling , so out of control ....shaking feeling sick ....right will call now ...

mumof2000 · 24/11/2009 09:31

shaking like a leaf .... nice recepionist called back

x rays all fine doesnt need to see me till next time 6 months , well going in 2 months as children having special paint put on there teeth to help protect them and not end up like me when older ........im so releived ....

can enjoy today a bit more now , going to talk to my mum , then on to a lunch with friends from DC old school .

back later

luv you all xxx

blissa · 24/11/2009 10:30

I'm so glad everything is ok mumof2000, and that you are feeling happier. Good luck with your mum and enjoy your lunch

Hope you are ok this morning Yommy. I have had plenty of evenings like that with my dcs. I put all of mine to bed early last night, all in bed by 7.15 . but dds kept coming down and I ended up getting cross and telling them not to come down again. Today is another day, don't beat yourself up.

Have kept both dd1 and ds off today, they are both coughing. Dp took dd2 to school so am having a nice lazy morning!

mooseloose · 24/11/2009 22:39

2000, glad your results all good - what a relief for you.

Bliss did you read on here on sleb twaddle (i think) that it is a game plan of Katie Price/Pete that they will get back together, and its all a publicity stunt!

I laughed at the challenge tonight.

Been to pilates - am chilled, and have my pelvic floor pulled up!

OP posts:
mumof2000 · 25/11/2009 07:54

Morning all

How are you yoummy ? hope you had better time with DC , mine have me in circles most nights .....then struggle to get up in morning ....How old are yours ?
Mine are 9 and 7 .

Blissa - nice to have lazy time with DC from time to time , hope there cough a bit better . mine are a bit to old to keep off for lazy day now, plus we live opposite there school ....i used to do it sometimes when they were at nursery and if they were tired or it was a horrid day .

Moose- hope you enjoyed pilates ? iv not done that one before is it good ? iv done body balance and yoga .

Feeling a bit calmer today .....

had chat with my mum , fell on deaf ears i think ...was hard , she is in total denile and was not liking some of the things i was saying ....may try and find out a number for me to call to get some advice for me , as im finding it hard to cope in my mind about it all .
have good day all xxx

blissa · 26/11/2009 18:11

I did see that moose. Starting to believe after seeing the front of OK! in the shop yesterday about how she says she thinks her and Pete will be reunited soon, and him begging her to come back from Oz . What a load of crap, they must be desperate for publicity if that is what they've done- it's not like they need the money. I do like Gino.

Well done on your Pilates and your pelvic floor- I had one of those once...

Glad you are feeling better mumof2000. I think it might be a good idea to get some advice about your mum, it is a lot for you to deal with on your own.

Dd1 went back to school yesterday, but ds had an awful cough yesterday and has had a temperature all day, although seems to be feeling a bit better this evening.

Don't know what I've done to myself but my hip is hurting

Hope everyone else is ok

mooseloose · 26/11/2009 21:53

Pilates very calming and i do feel nice - but not a single ache - so i dont think it is doing much. Have to remember to 'pull up my pelvic floor, my belt in three motches, breathe out/in, and raise a leg/arm'!! Ha Ha

OP posts:
candyfluff · 27/11/2009 10:21

hi all
sorry not been on lately when i have more time i will come back and read whats been going on
hoping your all ok xxxxxx

blissa · 30/11/2009 10:14

God that sounds complicated moose!

Bit quiet in here...

Good to see you Candy, how are things with you?

I have a quiet house and it is bliss! Everyone back to school today. I was in such a fowl mood on Saturday, think it was because I haven't had a moment to myself.

The weather here is awful, got soaked on the school run. Cannot believe it is December tomorrow- where has this year gone?

YommyMommy · 30/11/2009 17:36

Hi Blissa,

Glad you finally go some time to yourslef!
Ot is really quite, wonder where everone has gone??

Good weekend had here. Gutted my house, again on Sat, and I am going to have to do it again before I put the tree up at the weekend Anyone else mega excited???

Not got much time to post at the moment, but will be back on later! Can you believe George has left the jungle???

blissa · 01/12/2009 13:58

Glad your ok yommy.

Not feeling too christmassy here yet. Will slowly now it is actually December! It is dd2's birthday in a couple of weeks and so our tree will not be going up until the weekend after that. She is having a party here so I am not having a load of 6 year olds running around with a 7 foot tree in the house.

I don't really get why George left, so many have this year. I have developed a little thing for Gino- he has such lovely eyes

mumof2000 · 02/12/2009 08:18

morning all , im still around , back to dentist tomorrow as got another thing in mouth im worried about hes so patient with me ....deep down im sure its ok but just need to be 100o/o....
Had othere things going on with my mother have posted another thread and been getting some advice about it ...
feeling very anxtious about all that and resposable for whats been going on , something happened which made me realise , i think iv lost my mum to alcohol and dont think i can get her back ..

seeking advice from al-anon to try to get perspective on my feelings about it all as , feeling desperate about it all mainly as i would never forgive myself if something happened to her and i hadent tried to help ...i also worry she is really unhappy and depressed and told me some days she doesnt even want to wake up ...
sorry big rant ( wiping away ears) ..
got to go getchildren ready for school and go to work today ...hmmm could do with out that .....

hope all ok and thanks for listening xx

YommyMommy · 03/12/2009 15:02

Hi Girls,

Hi mumof2000 - So sorry to hear about your mum I am so sorry to hear that! And I'm sorry to hear you have something else in your mouth to worry about. I hope he has put your mind at rest today??? And I hope you get things with your mum sorted out soon {{{{{Higs}}}} Has your mum been to see her GP or can you take her??? I have experience of alcoholism in my own family and have seen first hand the heartache it can cause!

Hope everyone else is okay.

My DS 2 has a tummy bug He hasn;t been able to hold anything in since yesterday morning about 6! Mostly coming down the way - only been sick once (through the night) Hope it passes quickly and no one else gets it!

Have had so much on lately, but I think I am def getting better with the anxiety thing. Def feel like I have my spark back and I am wanting to live life again - rather than just getting through the days :D Although anxiety is still there, but trying not to let it take control! My friend wants me to go with a night out on the 19th ( can;t remember last one I had - too scared incase I have a panic) I am already thinking of excuses - but on the other hand I really want to go - what do you think I should do??? I already have a baby sitter . Anyone ever had a panic whilst drinking??? lol! I am so worried about not being in 100% control! Does thats sound weird??

Hope you are all well!

mumof2000 · 03/12/2009 19:31

Thanks yoummmummy ,
Feeling a little calmer today , went to dentist all fine i think all my anxiety at moment is due to the worry i feel over my mum .
getting other things out of proportion hence the mouth ay moment ...

Sorry to here your DS 2 is unwell ....hope hes on the mend soon ..
Glad to here the anx monster keeping away to
and night out with friend sounds good , think you should go for sure , have a few drinks relax and the panic thing may not even happen at all ...
i do know where our coming from as only today my boss mentioned our xmas do ... on the 12th and like you im making excuses in my head , i doubt if i will go as i always feel crap when i go out as , i havent been out with girls for a year ..yikes ...and there all so used to going out socializing , drinking etc ...
plus my DD is in a drama group play that night to , and would rather watch her in play come home and snuggle with my family ..

its hard to make your self go out at times ..

hope everyone is ok ? x

blissa · 04/12/2009 12:07

Hi girls

Hope you are ok today mumof2000, I'm glad the dentist put your mind at risk. I'm so sorry about your mum but well done for getting some advice and talking to people about it.

I hope ds2 is better today Yommy and that no one else has been sick. I definately think you should have a night out with your friend. I always get nervy before a night out but am usually ok (not that I've had one in a while ). I understand what you say about not liking not being in control- I am the same. I like a drink, will have a few glasses of wine most evenings, but I know when to stop before I get drunk. I do not like being drunk anymore!

I've just been to see my friend and her new baby, just over a week old. He is gorgeous! I thought it might be a bit difficult or would upset me, but I am fine. I held him and gave him a bottle- it was lovely

Hope everyone else is ok xx
