We'll I have decided that I am going to bite the bullet and go for this night out, but not sure how I am going to explain to my friend that I won't be drinking??? Well maybe a glass or 2 of wine! Been trying to think of excuses like on AB for infection - thats terribel isn't it

DS2 is finally better today. We have been out all day - went to see Santa (again) lol! He was lovely this time Have any of you seen the santa video on the net where he gives your lo a personal message??? Oh it is so good! A must!! I cried when DS1 watched it as he was so engrossed nodding along when Santa was asking him if he has been a good boy!!! lol! Too cute!!! I'll post the address for it tomorrow as can;t get into my e-mail just now!

Anyway, hope everyone is well. I am going to turn in now as I have a bit of a sore head!

How is everyone doing ?

Dentist did put my mind at rest and all ok

My mum hasnt rung at all , i spoke with her wednesday as i rang her ... she was quite cool with me and told me in not to many words that she was under control and to butt out really ... she hasn't rung over weekend i have not rung her ...i cant face it all again right now in case she is drunk , and im sure she is thinking of me as the enemy now as i spoke my mind a bit , and told her some home truthes on her drinking ...
like , her loss of weight , not sleeping , forgrttfullness , loss of appitite ,depression ,IS all due to her drinking heavely for the past 20 years or more ...
but she wont have any of it says its not and just her age ...

so not a great deal further on at moment ..

had my ears suringed on friday as were blocked with wax , now got constant ringing in the ears and still muffled
any one els had this ? i will see how goes then maybe go back to doctors ..

Yoummy - sounds good the santa vidio will have to take a look , and glad DS is on the mend .
i to miss celebrity jungle was good fun ....now just x-factor , not sure who i want to win , they all sound the same to me ...

Good for you Yommy deciding to go out . I'm sure you will have a great time. Don't worry about making up excuses about not drinking- can you not just say that you don't want to drink very much as you have to be up with the dcs the next day? My friend has invited me out to her works christmas do and I am looking forward to it as I haven't been out at all this year and feel like I need it.

Not sure who I want to win x factor either, I think Joe will win though. The 23rd will be here before you know it ((((hug)))

I have so much washing to do today it is unreal! I helped out at ds pre-school yesterday morning and I really enjoyed it. It's something I hope to do on a more regular basis.

Blissa - funny you are talking about helping out at DS pre school as I just handed in my disclosure today to help out with DS own pre school, lol! Something I would also like to do on a regular basis!

Totally get what you mean about needing a night out! Thats exactly how I feel about the one coming up for me too! I have been to a wedding this year and nothing else in the night out department. So although i'm stressing about it already, i'm looking forward to it at the same time, lol! Although on days like this I just want to go back to bed and hide from the world all

ANother crappy day anxiety wise! Nearly never made it to town! Not sure whats the matter with me Beginning to think this is how is going to be up, down, up, down! Maybe I should visit m GP again, but not sure what she would say as any therapies I have had obvioulsy havn;t been working that well!! Argh!!!

Bought my chrimbo cards today! Just have to write them now, lol!

Got DS's nativity play in the morning! Hope I don;t cry like a fool, lol! Been feeling really weepy the past 2 days - although I am hoping thats down to being tired and nothing else!

How was DS nativity play ?we have ours next wednesday so i bet i will be the same , i always cry at them , something about children singing that does it im sure , your anxiety ..is it going out that does it for you or other issues ? has something set you off do you think ? something worrying you ?

Thanks for the hug, made me smile I am feeling a bit better now, the boys are in bed and I have a little time for myself to wind down. Not sure what has kicked off the anxiety this time I don;t so much have issuse with going out, more the places I have to go, for example, if I am going into town alone I park in placs where I know I can get out easily and fast if I have to - which I never do, but the anxiety of having a panic is always there! If I am with someone - other than DC - I am usually fine, but I don;t want to have to relay on people if I want to go places - very annoying!!! When my anxiety first started I didn't really want to leave the house at all, but I made myself as I didn;t want to go down the route of being stuck in the house! Mostly I dread going places - until I am there then I'm usually fine!

Sorry for the longs story, lol!

How are you doing??? Anymore trouble with the mouth??

Its not DS nativity until tomorrow morning, so will let you know how it goes! I think you are right about the children singing - gets me everytime! lol! What are we mums like!

I had a bit of HA scare this week not me as such but others with health issues , making me anx and self checking again ....grrrrrr trying to keep busy so not to keep focus on things .... which in turn then starts me worrying and anxiety DONT want that over xmas grrrrrrr

hows everyones christmas shopping going ?

Im almost there i think one more trip should do it ... then got all the wrapping to do ....im rubbish at that ..
really need to get everything out so can see what i have but DC always around ..and im to tired after they are in bed .

then just got fresh food to get day before ohh and must order the turkey oops ...

Hope you're feeling ok today Yommy. Glad that ds nativity went well, I bet he looked gorgeous as a shepherd! I watched Kirsties HM Christmas- she has some lovely ideas but not many of them are particularly cheap! I loved the soaps and thought about getting the recipes and instructions from the website- until she said they have to sit for 6 weeks until you can use them- would have been more use in October!

How are you today mumof2000? I hope those you are worried about are ok.

I don't really know how the Christmas shopping is going! I have most of the dcs stuff it's just everybody else! I made some chutney for my parents and sisters but I can't just give them one jar of chutney! All my ideas and good intentions have gone out the window! And I've realised that I only have 2 child free mornings next week before they finish school AAARRGGHH

I am feeling a bit better today thanks - still more anxious than I would like though! I've have been going for a walk everymorning when I drop DS of at nursery and its been great need to try to loose this baby belly , lol! Never went this morning though, just went to post office to pick up parcel. Been out to the park this afternoon so all in all not too bad!!!

Blissa - i've been loving Kirstys home made christmas!!! LOL, at the soap making time scale, but i'm def going to give it a go - once I have the time ofcourse!!! She kept going on about how cheap all of the things were too, but easy to say when you have her kinda money in the bank, lol!

mumof2000 - Hope you are feeling a little better after the HA scare!! I find that even when I am having a good day I am constantly self checking for signs of anxiety - like 'oh, hows my breathing, hows my chest, am i feeling shaky' I really need to stop doing it!!!

As for the chrimbo shopping - have everything in for DS's although DS1 has been asking for a new manchester united footy strip. Need to get for sisters, grannies BIL's n a little something else for my mum!

Have a yankee candle tartlet burning in my snowman burner - its apple - I am going to have to blow it out, far to overpowering .

Hope you are ok and have had a good week.

I've not been around this week as I have had a really busy week with the dds doing things after school and dd2s birthday the other day. Have also been having major ructions with dp, it really has been an awful week. Things are a bit better now but I just feel exhausted and a bit down.

We had quite a bit of snow today but not enough to close the schools. Why couldn't it have waited til next week? The kids loved it though.

It's hard to believe but it's a year today since I was in hospital with my PE- where's the year gone. TBH though I will be glad to see the back of 2009, it has been crap!

Now the dcs have finished school the countdown to christmas is on. Better get the tree up this weekend- still not feeling very festive.

Sorry to hear that you have had a crappy week though!{{{{{big cyber hugs}}}}} I think it's all the stress of christmas! I haven;t had dh to deal with so our relationship is great, lol! Have had a pretty busy week myself, but have also been feeling very anxious Feel like I.m going back down that slipper slope! How??? Its really crappy!!!!

Can;t believe thats been a year today since you were in hospital - on the good side you have made a good recovery

My DS still has to go to nursery right up until wed . He has his christmas party on monday so will be looking forward to that!

Got my night out tomorrow night. S^&%ing myself now, lol! I am looking forward to it though, but hav been feeling so lousy all week that I am just thinking its going to be a complete disaster

I'm sure its just a blip if I am no better I think I will go back to the GP and may consider going on AD's just to het rid of the anxiety n give me time to work out what the issues are! Its just weird as I thought I was getting so much better and now going anywhere seems to be becoming a strugle again! Its just a pain in the butt! Will see what my GP says!

Have 4 boys tonight. Baby sitting my two little cousins, lol! Just about to get them all up to bed to watch a dvd! Hopefully get a wee lie on tomorrow before my night out!

sorry your a bit anx at moment , i feel the same .... to much for us mummys to do at moment ....still got so much to do before the big day !!!!!

I got my work night out tomorrow and my boss is insisting i dont drive ...... its not to far but im worried about getting lifts there and back with people i dont know ...cos we have had lots of snow and it will be icy im sure , plus on way back will go longer route to drop others off first ...i will be last .... im just worried about that really , i want to go and would be nice to have a drink and dance as havent done that for over a year ... am i being silly ?
i also know my boss will think im a party pooper if i dont as i am one of the really boaring ones at work , they all go out alot and drink alot ....i will have a few glasses of wine and thats it , i know my limits ...been there done that ....
what should i do ? my DH thinks i should stop worrying and go and have a good time ...

I say def go to your night out. I was suposed to have a night out tonight too, but my friend called last night to cancel as her little one has ben ill all week . Although I've been worrying about it all week, I have been looking forward too it as like you mumof2000, its been such a long time since I have had a night out other than a wedding this year . Also like you I stop after a couple of drinks as I hate not being in control at all times! Side effect of anxiety for me! So def don;t think you are being silly in the way you are feeling - as you are not alone!!!!

Anyway, I think you should def go out and have a glass of wine for us all! One you get there n start dancing you will be fine, lol!

I am hoping that my baby sitter will still offer to take my little ones tonight so that I can get some wrapping done and have a nice relaxing bath with a glass of wine :D

What about a pair of straigh/skinny jeans n a smart top n dress it up with a pair of heals . Thats what I was planning on wearing tonight . Pitty we never lived closer together or I could have sent my outfit over so one of us could get use out of it, lol!
