Hi girls, i have started a new thread for us all. The other was too long. Hope you all find it.

Ooh Blissa I do think this is residual hormones.. I think your periods can take a little while to kick back in after any length of pregnancy.
Wow a 2 hour walk, sounds great, I don't think I could get DH out for that long.
Moose- thanks for posting about your running, it has given me the kick I need to get my trainers back on I certainly need to do something about my head and my weight so definaetely a good combination. Hope you enjoy the GNR!
Yommy, hope you are feeling better today. How are your anxiety levels today?

Have talked to my therapsit today about my dreams, and we wonder if it would be good for me to increase the dosage of citalopram. I would really like to get ontop of things.

I have also had a revelation today.. I didn't realise that when other people listen to people talking they listen to the words that the person is saying without analysing what the person "really" is meaning. I have always done this. I never take anything on face value. but just thought this was normal.

Anyway, need to try to get ontop of my anxiety levels, they are sky high this week and I have LOTS to do so will try going out for a run when DH gets home from work

mooseloose · 07/09/2009 17:00

Hi just cooking tea. No time to run today (Let me know how you get on Greyskull}. Boys back at school tomorrow. Hope Grey has reassured you Blissa?
I'm still having daft dreams too. Vivid ones. I dreamed by hip bones were sticking out (I wish!!) and were shaped like door handles (thinking of love handles maybe )?
I woke up and poked them to be sure!!

OP posts:
blissa · 07/09/2009 17:22

Lol that dream certainly is different moose!

Yes, you have helped to reassure me Greyskull, thankyou. It certainly makes sense, but just wasn't what I needed to see iykwim?

DH wasn't too enthusiastic about the walk! We went to Windsor, and you can walk from the castle up to a statue at the top of a hill, it doesn't look as far as it is! The view was worth it though, we could see for miles.

Enjoy your run

Have my first session with the councillor this afternoon. Not sure what to expect. I don't know if it's just an assessment?

Looking after my friends lo today, I'm going to have him weekdays for a month until he starts with a new cm. He and ds get on really well (most of the time).

Hope you are all ok today. Sun is shining here, it's very warm!

mooseloose · 08/09/2009 20:41

It's been really hot and muggy here too. How was it Blis? x

OP posts:
candyfluff · 09/09/2009 09:03

how did you get on blissa?

blissa · 09/09/2009 11:29

Yesterday went well thanks girls. The councillor is a lovely lady and is really into her 'beautiful breathing'!

We talked about everything that has happened and she is going to teach me some relaxation techniques and breathing exercises. I find concentrating on my breathing really difficult as I think it won't go back to normal after I have been controlling it
She also said we will scramble up some memories that I have learned anxiety from. I see her again next week.

Been back to the gp this morning. My test results are back and I have PT Gene Variant, which basically means I am more prone to clotting in pregnancy or after surgery. In a way I can see it as a good thing, as at least we know and if I do need surgery then the risk can be reduced, instead of having surgery and then suffering a clot afterwards. So maybe what happened was a warning sign?

Told him about my positive tests (I did another last night, same again) and I am going back this afternoon to have a blood test done

How is everyone else?
xx

mooseloose · 09/09/2009 20:35

Hi, I have been cleaning all day! Downstairs looking (fairly) lovely! Don't yet talk about the forbidden upstairs zone!

I have been ok really for the last couple of weeks - I have been on hol the last two weeks though!

Blissa glad the counsellig went well - mine has made such a huge difference to me. I think you should try to look at the clot like it was the warning sign. It's good because at least you know now. So perhaps turn it in your head from something bad to something useful (if good is too strong a word/idea?)

Hope you all ok girls, bit quiet on here!

OP posts:
blissa · 11/09/2009 12:12

It is isn't it moose. Where is everyone??

Been trying to ring the results line but I can't get through

You're right moose, that is how I'm trying to look at it. I wish I'd asked the dr more questions, I've thought of loads now! I think the councelling might help, I've felt a lot calmer this week. She also told me that when we feel anxious our bodies release coagulants into the blood, so I haven't been doing myself any favours!

I need to tidy upstairs but I have no motivation! I've been to tesco this morning, and I bought myself some flowers to cheer me up. Have since come home, hoovered and mopped the floor.

I still have over an hour of child free time until ds and his friend finish pre-school. They stay for lunch on Fridays- my favourite day

Have you heard anything from your interview yommy? xx

YommyMommy · 11/09/2009 21:26

Hi Girls,

Been at centre parcs all week! Had a fab time! Only got back a few hours ago! DS2 had been poorly though He was up being sick last night and has slept a lot today, although the sickness has stopped! Not sure whats the matter with him!

OP posts:
blissa · 11/09/2009 21:36

Hi moose how are ya?

YommyMommy · 12/09/2009 08:19

Morning Girls,

Just reading back over my last post and realised how many typo's there are lol! Really need to start checking before I hit post! lol !

Been up since 6.30 with the boys, DS2 has been sick again thismorning . Hope you are right moose, maybe just a bug form the water! Not sure if I should try to starve him for 24hrs to get rid, but not sure he would go that long without food. What do you think??? (he doesn't seem to have much of an appetite at the moment, just taking little bits of food n milk here and there!)

Blissa, don;t worry about forgetting I was away, you have enough going on with ur own life, lol!

How are things with you candy, not heard from you in a while!

Hope yo all have a nice weekend! Weather looks good so far for us! Hopefuly it stays that way, means I will be able to get all my washing out! Woo Hoo!

P.S. Never heard anything back from my interview so going to guess I never got the job Oh well, just need to keep looking!

blissa · 12/09/2009 11:11

Oh that's a shame Yommy, their loss

I'd keep giving ds little bits of bland food if that's what he wants. I know mine in the past, have been sick and then 10 minutes later asked for crisps!

Weather is good here too. Have already got 2 loads out on the line. Going to try and do some baking with the dcs in a bit.

YommyMommy · 12/09/2009 17:18

Hi Girls,

Having a good day Not sat down at all, cut the grass, 4 washings out, weeded a little, lol! Keeping busy def keeps the anxiety at bay !!!!!!!

DS1 has been away at the park all day with his auntie n cousins. He will be having a ball, but I am beginning to miss him now! DS2 has been sleepy again today so just been letting him sleep in his pram in the garden (plenty of fresh air!) Even managed to get a few more pages of my book read!

Got my chinese on order, so going to wash n make up bottles, get DS2 into jammies n enjoy SCD and X factor! Woo Hoo! Thank goodness my DH is still away at work, he would never allow all this crappy tv, lol!!!

Hope u have all had a good day!

YommyMommy · 13/09/2009 16:26

Afternoon Girls,

Had the worst night ever last night, was up being sick all night. Had to call my MIL to come up n get up with the kids this morning as I could barly lift my head off the pillow!

Finally managed to get out of bed at lunch time n had a bit of toast. And still feeling like total crap, but I think I lot of that is from being so tired too! Early night for us! Wish I had DH here to help out!

Candy, sorry to hear the overbreathing is back, but don't let it get you down to much I'm sure it will pass again! What do you think is making you feel more anxious again?

Hope everyone else is well! Going to tidy up while I have the energy! Its really warm here today, but not as sunny as it was yesteday!

How are you feeling today Yommy? I hope you and ds are on the mend.

A homemade cheesecake Candy? YUM! What kind is it? Hope your breathing has settled down today and that you have a nice relaxing evening with your sis.

You're right about keeping busy moose, I have managed to get through the weekend ok. Went to pick up a bed from my friend for ds, it's one of those mid-sleepers so he will feel like a big bot! Just need to order a mattress for it but this bloody computer won't let me onto the Dreams site
