Hi moose, how are you?

I can't wait for the kids to go off to bed either, well ds to be more exact!

mooseloose · 04/09/2009 18:33

My patience with the school hols is running dry now - however much I detest making school sarnies!

blissa · 04/09/2009 18:56

When do they go back? I hate lunch boxes too, thank God its friday already!

How is your friend doing now?

YommyMommy · 04/09/2009 19:56

Evening Girls,

Thats my little one down for the night Bigger one is still out playing. He was almost grounded an hour ago, and I was shouting at him like a loony . Problem was he had already been to the shop this afternoon with his friends so had money for a sweet, then the tally came and he wanted money for that too this evening so as a treat gave him some more, 10 minutes later another tally came and he was in again asking for money. When I told him no he was crying, almost hysterical . I was trying to explain to him why, but he just started crying even more! I told him that wasn't on si he was grounded! Didn;t want to smack him, but was so close to loosing the rag with him .

I am very tired today and looking forward to going to bed tonight! Might make a cuppa n have a few choc brownies to watch BB final!

Hope u are all well! Sorry for the moaning! lol! x x x

mooseloose · 04/09/2009 20:23

Mine in bed now - read a chunk of Harry Potter, but they still talking and i hear bumps! Couldnt run as eldest out playing too late and its dark now, too late to be safe out running on my own.

My poorly friend Blis?

Yom I havent watched BB this time - I watched them all go in and thought they were all too odd to be bothered! I did watch it last year - liked Luke and Beks! They were quite a normal group I think!

mooseloose · 04/09/2009 20:32

OP posts:
YommyMommy · 04/09/2009 20:43

Thats what my hubby has to do too! U will be right about him suffering more that u and the kids as you all have each other at home! I think my Dh us struggling more woth missing the boys the older they get!

blissa · 04/09/2009 20:44

Yes moose, you haven't mentioned her in awhile? Shame you couldn't get out for a run. I might start swimming when ds goes back to pre-school, although I have a nightmare senario of something happening to me in the deep end!

I've had a trying evening with ds too yommy, god he's a pita at times . They are all in bed and I have wine!

Never really got into Big Bro, goes on too late for me sometimes!

YommyMommy · 04/09/2009 20:54

Lol, goes on to late for me at times too, so I have only been watchung when I can! I just watch it out of habbit now as I have watched everyone I really need to get a life! lol!

Blissa, will ur little one be going to school next year with mine??? lol!

blissa · 04/09/2009 20:58

He should start January 2011 as a rising 5, but as his birthday is in January, if there are enogh places, he could start next september

God that's horrible, I shouldn't want my youngest bairn to go should I?!

YommyMommy · 04/09/2009 21:08

lol, just think you will have a touch of your old life back! lol! Wonder what you will do with ur free time

I can;t believe my DS1 will be going to school next aug He was born in the feb so will be one of the youngest in his class! I could hold him back a year if I wanted to, but I think he will be ready to go! We'll see! He was asking if he was going this year, and when was he getting his uniform! ha ha!

YommyMommy · 04/09/2009 21:09

Can't believe how much I have eaten today! Feel like a complete pig, lol!

Oh well its the weekend after all!

blissa · 04/09/2009 21:22

Oh bless him. DD1 is, I think, the 2nd youngest in her year. Her birthday is July. At first I wanted to hold her back a year, but she's never had a problem, and like your ds, was maore than ready to start.

I've been raiding the biscuits. I knew I shouldn't have bought those dark choc digestives

mooseloose · 04/09/2009 21:30

I cried when my eldest ds started school, cried when middle one left playschool to start nursery! yet alone school! Whn youngest was starting I cried for a year at the mere mention, but on the actual day they went in the quietly and orderly it was all ok!

YommyMommy · 05/09/2009 16:08

Afternoon Girls,

Having a bit of a crappy day today! Was out at my friends this afternoon, but not realy been feeling great since I got up this morning (brain in anxiety mode - over breathing, taking deep breaths just to make sure I can still fill my lungs, lol, feeling a bit dizzy, sore chest, blah, blah) Anyway had to nip into tesco before hand n felt a bit dizzy as soon as I went in, got what i needed n got out! Went to my friends still not feeling 100%, had a nice few hours there dispite that, but on my way home I was feeling a little fuzzy n though I was going to have a panic! It past quickly, but I was just dying to get home after that!

Just not really sure why I am feeling so bad. Not had a day like this in a while! I think my iron levels might be low again and thats making me feel more tired! Have had that quite a lot over the oast few years! I need to get iron tablets from the chemist.

Just wanted to have a wee rant!

Hope u are all having a good day! x x x

blissa · 05/09/2009 17:27

Hi yommy, hope you're feeling a bit better now.

I've head a really crappy day with dcs, they have been horrible- fighting, screaming, ignoring me. I've shouted so much today, I don't want my weekend to be like this. I've told them they're not allowed to watch Dr Who or X Factor this evening and they're not having any biscuits or sweets. Early nights for them all

mooseloose · 05/09/2009 18:47

Hope you settled a bit Yommy. i had a turn in Tesco too this week - breathing went, found I was gasping in the birthday card aisle! I put it down to being busy and tired. Am ok now. i have had low iron too, and the breathing, and unable to get a deep breath and shaky hands is just the same. I do pop iron pills when I am not sure what it is - anxiety or iron!

I ran 8 miles early this morn. Legs tired now!

X factor soon

OP posts:
blissa · 05/09/2009 19:20

8 miles moose WOW! How long til the North run?

I'm waiting for X Factor too, have just put the dcs up to bed, ds is still messing around.

Don't know what's going on with my body, I have just started to bleed again. Have had a bit of cramping today so hope fully this is now my long awaited period!

YommyMommy · 05/09/2009 21:03

Evening girls,

I am feeling a little better now, still really ored though and a bit pale looking pretty sure my iron levels are low now!

Watched x factor, was good! Now wathing the cube! Forst time I have seen it! Crap Saturday night tv! I am going to head off to bed soon.

Blissa - hope ur period comes. That would be a big weight off!

Well done on the 8 miles moose! I really need to excersise more! Do you think it helps with the anxiety???

Hi to everyone else!

mooseloose · 06/09/2009 21:13

The running definately definately helps the anxiety! Really does. It was part of my treatment from my counsellor and docs. The deal was that if I ran I could stay off the meds!

I ran /run every other day. Counsellor says that it releases endorphins and seratonin into my body, the same as what the meds replicate. I am also getting out my door in public (!)- a big issue for a while. It also uses up the spare adrenaline - this is what was causing my constantly shaky hands and jelly legs.

My jeans are now baggy, and my boobs shrunk two cup sized in the last few weeks. I am usually a 14/16, but would say i am not far off a 12 now. And my legs are toned, and my tum shrunk!

You should try it! I won't say its easy - I'm not a 'natural' runner - the first 3
miles are the worst! Takes a while for my breathing to settle, and get my legs in a pattern! I started walk a min run a min. I slowed right down and the distance increased!

The only down side is that my face is bright red when I finish!

Great North Run (13 miles) is Sunday 20 Sept - it will be on tele! I will prob put some pics on facebook, not here - like to remain anonymous cos you never know whos on that knows me! It's nice have the anonymity of you lot! Do you go on facebook?

Blissa, hope you are ok? You really are suffereing these last few weeks, hope it's settling down?

I am sat in pj having a cuppa and a hot sausage roll!

OP posts:
blissa · 07/09/2009 11:06

Morning girls

It's so peaceful! All dcs are at school, though I have to pick ds up in an hour. Just trying to get a bit of tidying up done.

Not long til the North Run then Moose! Which charity are you running for? I go on facebook but for some reason my computer doesn't like it so I have to do it on my phone. It's expensive though, so I don't go on it very often.

Hope your feeling better yommy. X Factor was good on saturday, we sat and watched Pirates of the Caribbean afterwards- Capt'n Jack Sparrow-nice

Had a better day yesterday, dragged the dcs out for a long walk-over 2 hours! They moaned a bit but cheered up when dp started knocking conkers off the trees- simple pleasures!

Period hasn't materialised, bit disappointed. Think I'll wait a couple of days then do the second test. I certainly don't feel pregnant- I'd be 13 weeks by now- so fingers crossed it is just the hormone and that's why my periods are messed up
