I've been off work nearly three months now and am just really fed up with myself now. i've refused any meds but I just cant get over it. I started my counselling last week, and am hopeful she can sort me out. it was caused by by son having an accident, and juggling work etc which just got too much and made me cry.
Id had a lot of panic attacks but they are getting better but now I just feel worried when i go out, and that i want to cry.
Today I just can't breathe. I don't know if i'm worse today because i'm due on too.
I just really feel i've lost my way and lost confidence in myself, and i dont know what to do to get myself back.
I'm all crabby and wound up with people too - no patience.
I think the doctor is fed up with me too and i'm also worried she won't keep giving me sick notes, i'm never usually ill.......

what sort of work is it moose and is reducing hours an option for you?

mooseloose · 02/03/2009 20:42

Hi do admin, yes it would be reduced hours. They already said that. Been ok except wanted to cry in Asda today, felt really covered with emotion. Felt horrid.
How are you?

blissa · 04/03/2009 16:17

Hi everyone, my internet has been down all this time and I have missed you all!

blissa · 04/03/2009 16:19

Sorry for the short posts but after several attempts of posting a rather long post I wrote and failing, I seem only to be able to post short ones? Maybe pc isn't totally cured?

blissa · 04/03/2009 16:35

I seem to be muddling through each day. I had a horrible panic attack the other day, stemming from muscle pains I was getting after hurting my shoulder.

blissa · 04/03/2009 16:36

It went on for 2 hours and I thought I was dying. I keep getting pains all through my back, shoulders and chest.

blissa · 04/03/2009 16:37

My mum bought me a book about panic attacks which has been helpful. I've been reading about chronic muscle tension, which makes a lot of sense to me and could explain some of my symptoms

blissa · 04/03/2009 16:39

I hope you are all well, I'm going to try and get to the bottom of this problem, I can't keep posting like this!

morningsun · 04/03/2009 17:25

Morning all. Oh moose I wish, I could do with a holiday! Sorry to hear you're feeling like that mtb, I hope you have a good day. How are you morningsun?

morningsun · 05/03/2009 10:32

I am good thanks blissa[touches wood].
How are you?

blissa · 05/03/2009 10:37

I'm ok thanks, trying to ignore the tingly muscle feelings in my chest. I have to learn to not wake up in the morning and immediatley analyse how I feel. So much to do but can't get going

morningsun · 05/03/2009 10:41

its a shame you hurt your shoulder as well
yes i am also very lazy atm i think its my age!

blissa · 05/03/2009 10:46

I don't even know how I did it, must be so out of condition that even normal things like hoovering strains them!

morningsun · 05/03/2009 10:50

what have you got to do today then?

blissa · 05/03/2009 10:55

Oh you know the usual exciting stuff, washing, ironing, cleaning etc. Was going to try and do the food shop on my own while ds is at pre-school, but I'm not sure if I will. How about you?

morningsun · 05/03/2009 11:03

yes cleaning and washing~it hasn't lasted since my blast a couple of weeks ago, shame!
paperwork and drop something off for my dh in town about 30 mins away which i may combine with a volunteering project i do.
Is your ds pre school this afternoon?

blissa · 05/03/2009 11:06

Yes he does 2 afternoons a week, 2 1/4 hours, which flies but probably would be enough time to get round Tesco. What is your volunteering project?

morningsun · 05/03/2009 11:12

I go thru phases of using tesco direct but haven't done it for ages.
I'm a homestart volunteer.
