Since we've nearly tipped the last one over the 1000 posts mark, here's the new thread for cvq and for her friends to help this lovely lady to keep on getting better.

Morning,
good to see you had some company last night.
I have been looking for somewhere online to do an anonymous journal of my journey
a lovely MN'er pointed me in the direction of this site
I haven't signed up yet but apparently you can choose privacy settings to mean NO ONE can see it except you.

If that helps??

hope you have a good day and that J let you have some sleep.
JJx

wednesday rc

friday so far nothing

MatNanPlus · 08/09/2008 10:57

Morning NS

A busy night i see.

Writing things down on your laptop in a wrod document means it is there, you caqn add to it, order it in the most worrying/hurting to the less.

It is printable and also private.

Do chat to the CPN and talking about J's birth isn't a bad move at all.

Moving the RC appt is good as you have more time to write things down.

You have so much swimming around and it is like your head has stopped letting you put things into spaces/rooms so you feel them all intermixing.

That is where writing the thoughts for each thing down might be helpful, you could start to see order/patterns. xxxxxxxxx

needsupport · 08/09/2008 13:00

am feeling a little better this morning.and hav had contact from homestart today.so they are coming out to see me on friday.i will have to be normal as to not scare them off

mellyonion · 08/09/2008 14:00

hey! great news about home start....and you managed to fill your friday! lol

you don't have to be normal at all...they're used to nutters

its important to be yourself...that way they can see just what they can do for you, and also what level of support they can offer you....if you are being matched to a volunteer...have a think about what you want from them...ie..a "friend" the same age to go out with you, an older lady to be a sort of motherly figure for you, a soft, gentle person to listen to you....i'm not sure how much they'll be able to accomodate what you're after, but i know, when i worked for them, some of the younger mums liked having me with them, because i looked like their mate at appts, not their mum or social worker iykwim....just some food for thought...

honestly...you are seeming so much more positive. i'm so glad for you....good on you!

hope the rest of your day continues in a bright way...

get out for your walk if you're able..the rest of the weeks weather is grim!!!!
x

Hello NS

I've seen your threads around for a while, and I just wanted to say how strong you sound, and how much your posts have touched me. You are doing so well. Please always remember that, as difficult as it is sometimes.

I'm glad to hear that your cast is coming off on Thurs. Just to warn you, be ready with the moisturiser, as your arm will be, erm, a bit flaky as soon as the cast is off

Hope cpn visit goes ok today

Sending you a flask of hot chocolate (made with my favourite, Green & Blacks hot choc. yum ) xx

bellavita · 08/09/2008 15:36

Hi ns,

Hope your meeting is/has gone ok.

Probably speak later?

p.s. my mouth feels like I have gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson (I have had two temporary crowns fitted) and I am trying to schlurp a cup of coffee atm and it is not going well!) I had the injections at about 12.30 so I hope they wear off for teatime!

needsupport · 08/09/2008 16:24

i forgot she was coming and was in a hell of a state when she turned upi also feel ive done 10 rounds

JamieAndHerMagicTorch · 08/09/2008 16:56

Forgetting appointments happens to all of us, NS. Please don't beat yourself up about it

Have they recently just gone?

needsupport · 08/09/2008 17:17

she went just after 4
ive had a diazepam

mellyonion · 08/09/2008 17:22

hey...it doesn't matter that you forgot sweetie....

as cpns, they are very used to people forgetting appts i should imagine...at least you were home!

i think that it may well have been a good thing that they saw you when you're not feeling at your best maybe...its more real, and represents your true state of mind better than trying and making an effort becuuse someone is coming...do you think thats true?

hope your diazie calms you a little....

((((()))))

xx

needsupport · 08/09/2008 17:30

oh she saw me not at my best alright
i was ranting at my mother when she knocked the door
but i am calming

differentID · 08/09/2008 18:32

hiya, did j's mood improve through the day? i'm sure the cpn is probably used to far far worse than hearing you rant at your mum. Besides you don't come across as a sweary sort of person, if I may say, so minimal bad language I bet. Don't fret, today is nearly over and it's one day closer to your cast coming off.

MatNanPlus · 08/09/2008 21:11

Not a bad thing for the CPN to see you have gumption at all NS

Re : Homestart you do need to be honest as to what you want / need as it will be a mental drain for you and not be meeting your needs but be adding to them.

Can J do another nursery session?

Re : Your arm, lots of olive oil, much better than bought moisterisers and add a litle fine slt to help reduce the flaking , gently rub in in circles, and slap on olive oil several times a day, within a week it will look good tho will be a bit skinnier.

Has the tablet helped?

How often can you take them?
