Since we've nearly tipped the last one over the 1000 posts mark, here's the new thread for cvq and for her friends to help this lovely lady to keep on getting better.

Hi CvQ
Hope today goes well for you and that you manage to overcome your worries about it and go;
and hope your head isn't too banging after what seems to have been a heavy night!
(((((((((hugs)))))))))) for you

bellavita · 18/09/2008 16:58

hello, can you let us know you are ok even if you don't feel like talking?

xx

CvQ · 18/09/2008 17:14
Sad
bellavita · 18/09/2008 17:20

did you go?

CvQ · 18/09/2008 17:21

yes

bellavita · 18/09/2008 17:22

well done you

have been worried about you all day!

bellavita · 18/09/2008 17:27

Without coming across as being bossy, do you think you could manage to eat something today and put some fuel inside you?

After last nights little drinking session, even if it is just a sandwich, it will help.

MatNanPlus · 18/09/2008 17:37

Hi Hun,

Am so glad you went and i hope you can find comfort in it.

CvQ · 18/09/2008 23:42

thankyou mnp x

thumbwitch · 18/09/2008 23:51

CvQ · 19/09/2008 00:04

hi thumbwitch.im ok

thumbwitch · 19/09/2008 00:06

good stuff - how was your head this morning?
How did your appt go today, or do you not want to think about it?

CvQ · 19/09/2008 00:12

my head was bad this morning
id rather not think about today tbh.ive managed to drag myself back up today.

thumbwitch · 19/09/2008 00:16

hurrah! Well done you.

Tell me, how are you getting on with j's routine? I keep buggering up my poor boy's routine and suffering for it - I had to have him in bed with me all last night as payback for dragging him out til 10pm - poor li'l thing.

CvQ · 19/09/2008 00:19

his routine is a breeze now oh except he messed around tonight but its been a kind of odd day for him.shinypinkshoes from mn and matnanplus did a routine change for me and its taken a while but its worked.want me to copy/paste for you?

thumbwitch · 19/09/2008 00:23

that would be really handy if you could, ta.
He is getting harder to get to sleep in the eves now, my fault for messing him around, but I can see it getting worse unless I start to put some proper routines in place for him.

CvQ · 19/09/2008 00:25

ok give me a min to find it

CvQ · 19/09/2008 00:31

6.30pm Breastfeed

10.30pm Breastfeed

thumbwitch · 19/09/2008 00:35

cool, I'll copy that out and print it and put it on the fridge. I'll have to adjust some of the times to suit as well but I'm pleased to see that there's still a lot of bfing in there - I was beginning to worry I was still doing it too much.

Not sure he's going to go for the 2hrs+ sleep in the middle of the day though - he's never liked napping for more than half an hour unless I join him!

So what's your plan for tomorrow - is it a nursery day? I haven't really got a handle on what day of the week anything happens in my own life, let alone anyone else's; except I do know that we are starting baby swimming again (level 3!) tomorrow afternoon so that will be good.

CvQ · 19/09/2008 00:45

i adjusted the lunchtime because he wasnt ready for lunch even though i tried a few days running.omg i used to be feeding constantly and its such a drain but now its so much better.nightime i could sometimes be feeding 4 or5 times a night and now we are down to 2 so it has got so much better.

no nursery tomorrow but weather permitting we might go to st leonards farm park.if not we will go over the weekend.

thumbwitch · 19/09/2008 00:57

oh cool - that's really nice, taking them to see the animals. DS has been to so many zoos now, not sure how much it really interests him but it keeps DH happy!

I mostly have to do 1 or 2 night feeds still but as I am usually on here until 1-2am, I am usually awake when the first one happens.

I hope the weather holds for this weekend - might go to the Berkshire county show if we can face the traffic. DH likes to see the competition farm animals and that's a pretty good show for them, and also the birds of prey.

How's your purple fluffy blanket tonight? Have you fixed the alcohol-induced holes?

CvQ · 19/09/2008 01:07

well i was having an early night tonight because he was later going down i thought id get some proper sleep in before he woke up.but he will wake any time now between 2/2.30.
oh my blanket do you know it was only tonight when i was talking to bellavita that i read back my ramblings.so now everyone knows my sunflower fell down

thumbwitch · 19/09/2008 01:16

funny what things stick with you, isn't it - your sunflower - did it fall or was it pushed?
I hope you manage to make your peace with your nan's spirit - I liked the idea of lighting a candle for her. I'm sure that she will know that you were saying your goodbyes to her in spirit even though you couldn't go to the funeral. And, so what if you couldn't - it's all about what's inside you, not about turning up to a specific place.

I think it's a bit like "church" - you don't need to be in a specific building to be able to worship or pray to God - some of the best "churches" are out in the middle of the beech woods when the bluebells are carpeting the floor; or below the cherry blossoms when they fall on your hair; or a snow-covered lawn just waiting for footprints - all these things fill my heart and make me thank God for nature and beautiful things.

Anyway my pet I have to go to bed now cos eyelids are getting heavier and heavier - I wish you a peaceful night and a good day tomorrow.
(((((((((hugs))))))))))) and get snuggling into that blanket!
xx
