Since we've nearly tipped the last one over the 1000 posts mark, here's the new thread for cvq and for her friends to help this lovely lady to keep on getting better.

Ooh - cunning plan... like your style. I've only ever nicked food once - it was a jar of honey from the upstairs flat when I was a student. I was very very drunk. And I don't really like honey.

how do you pronounce it?is it an e sound or an i sound.i always think its an e in my mind?

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:21

bah humbug. my washing is drying on radiators. Just remembered that I also nicked a Club bar (fruit, iirc) from Asda when I was about 7. My sister grassed me up to mum. I'm beginning to look like a serial food thief now.

I should be sitting and relaxing but for some strange reason I decided to do some baking (which I love) but I have been rather busy this week doing extra shifts at work and am back there tonight, so I should be putting my feet "up" not standing on them!

CvQ · 13/09/2008 14:21

i have to turn that adver over with lewis hamilton in it.its a bit freaky dont you think.actually that probbaly just me

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:22

bellavita · 13/09/2008 14:23

I thought CvQ was asking about the sounding in your name Habbibu.

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:23

oh, yes, that too - dd spent much of the journey down south drawing on an A4 pad from work. truly I have no shame...

OP posts:
bellavita · 13/09/2008 14:24

lol - crossed posts CvQ

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:25

oops - that'll teach me - "e" is how I (or more properly dd) say it.

OP posts:
bellavita · 13/09/2008 14:25

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:26

It's always entertaining to see how many posts I can manage before putting my foot in my mouth...

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:28

what were you making?

OP posts:
CvQ · 13/09/2008 14:29

lol habbibu.you dont fancy coming round and shoving my neighbours strimmer up his arse do youits woke j up grrr

Habbibu · 13/09/2008 14:33

Argh! Bad luck. I suspect you could be more inventive with the strimmer... They are worse than mowers - mean little buzzy sounds, not the peaceful drone of a mower. Mind you, my neighbour plays bagpipes in the garden... He is v. nice, mind, and they have a baby too, and it's not very often, so can't really complain. Need to get dd into her party outfit soon.

CvQ · 13/09/2008 14:35
