Since we've nearly tipped the last one over the 1000 posts mark, here's the new thread for cvq and for her friends to help this lovely lady to keep on getting better.

You know how in real life when you say something out loud, it hangs in the air and you feel that it can't be undone? I think MN is different and good like that - it's anonymous, and you can't see faces, and you don't have to look after people and be brave for them, and once deleted, your words are gone.

As Habbibu says, you can get anything deleted - I think you have to click on the red ! and it will be attended to (bit thick, me, haven't had to do it).
We are going to be ok with whatever you feel you need to type so type away...

if you are being graphic, it's not like you are making it up, you are just describing what happened, so we won't think badly of you for being open. Only hold back if it hurts you MORE to actually type it out - if it will help you, just do it - we're big girls, we can handle it, eh Habbibu?

Oh, ok. No, nothing you want to say will be offensive or make you look bad at all, I promise. If you want to get something out, then please do, but don't feel you have to say anything you're not ready to.

s'all right, I'm waiting to see if DH is going to attempt the stairs again - there was raucous snoring a few mins ago but that has stopped - i think he had fallen asleep on the kitchen floor. I know he hasn't made it up the stairs - he is too drunk.

Why don't you write it out in word, have a look, and then copy and paste it here. I don't know quite what backlash you think might happen, but you could click on the red ! straight away if you want, and ask for it to be deleted.
