It's rotten, especially when you have DCs to attend to.

How old are your DCs ?

TiggerTonkerTruck · 03/06/2008 13:58

Yep I also take mine in the evening so the tired bit comes just in time for bed!!

but once you feel back to your old self you'll be too busy enjoying life to notice,I promise!!

wotulookinat · 03/06/2008 14:19

Secretstars, I think it's normal to feel up and down. I still do, and I have been on the them for 6 months. I started on 20mg but and now on 40mg, and I think I might go up to 60mg when I next week the doc, which is at the end of the month.
I still have the extreme tiredness, which sometimes stops me from driving.

thewiltedrose · 03/06/2008 14:19

the wiltedrose when do yoy take your pills morning or night? i started taking mine in morning and found out that was a big mistake so took them on the evening which helped me sleep better

xx

TiggerTonkerTruck · 03/06/2008 14:23

Just to tell you girls, they made me feel worse at certain points in the first three weeks and I was tempted to stop I thought why take something that makes me feel worse!!! But it really is just everthing changing and leveling itself out.

I agree 10 does sound like quite a low dose. I started on 20 because of bad panick attacks and serve migraines(which they are also used to treat). I was doing really well on them but I wasn't quite 'there' so i went up to 40 which were briiliant, but I didn't want the tiredness. I am going to try 30 next. You just have to experiment a bit.
I did find pushing through the hard days helped, trying to get myself into a routine.

I am sure you can feel tired though also through the stress of where you are at in life mixed with the meds. This won't last. Good luck to you both.x.

thewiltedrose · 03/06/2008 14:24

i took mine in the morning and now i wish i didnt i can barely move i feel so tired i cant even get up to see to kids right now its quite scary

secretstars · 03/06/2008 14:27

perhaps you should start taking them on the evening starting from tomorrow i did that i take mine now at 7pm and find they help me relax and i can watch the telly and have a good nights sleep, plus you are sleeping off all the side affects

x

TheodoresMummy · 03/06/2008 14:27

Why don't you change to taking them at night TWR ?

You could either take 1 tonight or leave it in the morning and take your third tomorrow night ?

thewiltedrose · 03/06/2008 14:32

i dont know the docter said to me take them in the morning he didnt mention what to do if i wanted to switch to evening has anyone done it without talking to doc?

Its only early days maybe i should leave it an dsee if it goes i dont know!!!

OP posts:
secretstars · 03/06/2008 14:34

Yeah my gp told me the same thing to take them in the morning so the next day i didnt take it in the morning i waited til the night time, was so much better babes, try it or if your unsure call your gp and ask it shouldnt be a problem

SniffyHock · 03/06/2008 14:41

My only real side effect was excessive yawning! I needed a lot of sleep in the first couple of weeks then after that I really was transformed. I was also only on 10mg for about 6 months.

Please stick with them - they really made a change for the better for me.

Oh, and I got blind drunk on more than one occasion whilst taking them. Next day I had a headache, dry mouth, tiredness and fry-up cravings

Good luck x

TheodoresMummy · 03/06/2008 14:42

After only 2 tablets I wouldn't have thought it would matter if you change time of day.
