I was just out for a stroll around the internet and found something interesting to read science and pseudoscience

Hello? Can I join. I'm not necessarily mentally normal, but have been assured that I've reached a more socially acceptable level of insanity.

Mitchy1nge · 15/11/2014 20:26

Grin is good to see you

how are things?

I'm good. I had a wonderful two weeks of hypomania where I was exceptionally productive, but am back in blah land now.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 15/11/2014 21:00

Hello lovelies, greetings from a chilly New York. Having a lovely time sightseeing, shopping, eating and drinking. Hope you're all well.

EnpoTree · 15/11/2014 22:34

Hello and welcome Keema.

Glad you're having a great time Mental.

Thanks for the link Mitchy.

I came to bed at 8 hoping for sleep but no sleep has yet come Sad

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 15/11/2014 22:45

Sleep is a strange one for me at the moment. I'm trying to avoid taking stuff for it in the hope that I drift off, but it's so very hit and miss.

EnpoTree · 15/11/2014 23:00

It worked last night. 8pm to 8am. Then 6hrs immobile horrors, 2hrs slow, 3hrs able to walk/talk then the crying hit again then I came to bed tired out like the night before. But no sleep this time. Perhaps it's because I stopped my pregabalin. DP threatened to throw it out after I took it last night anyway. No more drugs. No way.

Sorry to hear you're struggling with sleep too, Keema. Sad

EnpoTree · 16/11/2014 10:43

How is everyone doing this morning? No immobile horrors for me today, hurrah.

Mitchy1nge · 16/11/2014 11:26

the horrors of a spa day

was bad enough when I thought daughter #1 was dragging me out of the house for a fucking manicure on a Sunday morning but there are other treatments to endure

she says is to spend time together but we are in separate rooms so duh

Sounds like utter hell to me, but then I'm odd.

Enjoy Grin

Mitchy1nge · 16/11/2014 13:54

it wasn't great but feel bad, she's also booked a trip to Berlin for us and I can't go on those dates Confused (she agreed spa thing was grim, we got out of there promptly)

Oh to be able to sleep. Been up since 4.30 even with the aid of zolpidem. Haven't gone mentally abnormal yet but I'm being watched like a hawk. Off out for another day in the Big Apple.

EnpoTree · 16/11/2014 14:56

Oh what a shame, Mitch. Bad luck.

Glad you still seem to be mentally normal, Mp - hope you're enjoying your morning Smile

Am at Starbucks because DP wanted to go trying to be normal. Getting funny looks for my liquorice root Grin

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 16/11/2014 15:01

I am in soft play hell. I was dragged here with the promise that this pit of children had good coffee. They forgot to make our coffee. Pah.

After having a few despondent days, I'm feeling cheered by getting more signatures on the petitiom we're running.

I'm up and down like a yoyo. I'd like a bit more of the up.

EnpoTree · 16/11/2014 15:12

Ooh yes some more up would be nice here too please Smile

I'm so impressed by your amazing work with the petition, Keema and really must get around to signing it.

Demand coffee. It is your right.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 16/11/2014 15:19

It turned up. It's was indeed good.

I still hate soft play though.

EnpoTree · 16/11/2014 15:20

Would soft play be improved by there being a supersized version for the accompanying adults with booze?

Mitchy1nge · 16/11/2014 15:31

I AM SO GRUMPY

(when is it bedtime? :()

Do you have a cat?

If not, time to worry.
