Well, I've agreed to be assessed for the day hospital. And I've eaten 3 cones but no lunch, so maybe that balances out.

Back to 1.5 after they've gone (bra and shorts).

I'm awaiting the crisis team, assessment for day hospital next Tuesday.

Lem it's all a bit strange for them this time of year, I remember having new classes as a teacher at this point in the year, and it's emotional and disruptive, also dd might be tired too. She will settle down, and get used to things. Have a word with the teacher if she's still worried after the hols.

Ffs now dd fallen out a tree not hurt just winded but she has had a shit couple of days

Crisis team was tricky, it's much easier to rate mood/voices than talk about them, but they opted for the latter. At least it's over for today. I have been to the day hospital before, it's usually tricky - last time I was unwell I was more assertive over not going.

Poor DD LEM Hope things pick up for her.

On the subject of ice cream and hot weather - this from Sarah Millican's newsletter today...

Hi all, ice cream here too... been busy today - yoga, shopping, lunch with dh, inlaws round, school run, heat exhausted children, more shopping, tea, bath for dcs, stories, water garden. Good grief now I've written it down I understand why I'm so dead! Meeting up with some women from painting tomorrow - hope I'm not too dead after today.

lem sympathies re your dd, mine are knackered now and more falling over etc! Wish they could stop. Dds classroom was so hot today I feel bad sending her back.

Oh yes de-clagging under my modest boobs...

Slept absolutely awfully last night. Awake lots with the heat and my cough (which on the whole is much better).

Up early and out at a local childrens attraction. Was there 7hrs. No nap. 30C+ heat. No shade what so ever, but there were indoor areas. We were absolutely melting. I even went in out garden pool when we got back. Lots of ice creams and icy drinka consumed.

At this point I bet you are all thinking that tomorrow will be a crash day. Sadly not. I am looking after my neighbours children from 7.30am.... [weeps]. Plan to go strawberry picking as long as not hideously hot (as there will be no shade in the strawberry field) then plan to make smoothies with whatever berries we come back with....

Then friday xp has the children and I will well and truely crash.

Its too hot to hug in this weather so high fives to all. Especially thinking of snowy. You have been strong. Stay strong and focused and they will hopefully back off. As you know it won't happen overnight, but it won't happen if you don't play their game either.)

Uggghhhh....I need my bed...

Poor dd Lem, not long till the end of school, it's a lot more laid back when they're home and you don't have to rush everywhere.

Had a c**p day yesterday and got into a right tizz about jobs, and just tried to apply for one far far away, and the computer crashed, I just go on this downward spiral of guilt, anxiety, tiredness couldn't sleep last night, Bleurgh!

I now need a timetable. I alternate between frantic activity and total sloth..
I can't seem to relax.

Busy day yesterday, dd1 had her friend round we went to a few parks, ice cream, she stayed for lunch and tea, I was shattered after it, perhaps why I have woken up feeling bad today, am due back at work on Monday after 2 weeks off and already have the back to work blues, am now thinking all this is to do with my work and perhaps if I did something else I would be ok, or would it manifest itself in some other way? I love my job when it goes well but when am under pressure, that's when I beat myself up, ie did I do the right thing? Is everyone else better than me, I feel like someone is goings to say err you shouldn't be doing this. god I feel like an imposter sometimes :(.

hoochy the alternation you describe is my natural pattern. Good for taught study at uni, not quite so good for research, hopeless for a paid job, although of course that is just me One reason I enjoyed being a SAHM is cos it fitted in better with my pattern...although of course it wasn't always perfect, as Ed's day shows. Hang on in, Ed [sympathy emoticon]

Definitely have a pattern of alternation.

I am fighting hard today. And it is a heavyweight fight.

Been strawberry picking.
Went to asda for a couple of bits. Absolute disaster with 5 children.
Cleaned my kitchen.
Made smoothies...destroying my kitchen.
Now laying on the sofa couting down the minutes until neighbour returns.

Dcs are going to xp tomorrow for the weekend and I will crash for the day. Either in bed or on the trampoline depending on the weather.
