Not busy - not sure why that didn't post much earlier. Showered for first time since October this mornIng :s a doctor took some of my blood and said hospital was the right place for me :( don't know when I will be able to ask consultant why.

Crunch corners can be nice.

Sorry people are having rubbish days :( hope they get better!

Thank you, I'm having a Round Tuit day to day if I can wrench myself off MN long enough. And now I've admitted this you can all point and mock hold me to account later!

snowmash · 21/02/2011 15:15

Night Okish Ty - better than deserved. Want to sleep/hide now as I have been told they need to write down what I'm eating and they can't :(

ThisIsANiceCage · 21/02/2011 15:19

ThisIsANiceCage · 21/02/2011 15:20

Hello again snowmash, have a great big hug! So pleased you're back and that you're eating. Hope you enjoyed the shower too.

My day has improved, thanks, although I've just had a snow warning, which would be a nuisance.

NanaNina · 21/02/2011 16:35

Snowmash - I have been following this thread but haven't posted before cus I think you have a nice little support group already. Just wanted to say I was in a psychiatric hospital last year for 3 months with severe depression. Some nurses were nice, others not so good. They did used to write down what we ate, even to the point of what was in the sandwich! I didn't like it either but I was told it was one of the rules they had to follow. I know you can't see it at the mo, but it is all done to help you as when we are mentally ill we often don't want to eat.

Please try to think of yourself as ill, not bad or undeserving.

Sending warm wishes (I don't know how to do that cup of tea thing!)

snowmash · 21/02/2011 16:37

I think they know I shouldn't be eating/drinking - I told a doctor so when she wanted bloods.

cup of tea = [ brew ] , but without the spaces. And it only works if you've warmed the pot. Grin

snowmash I know you have your own personal rule that you shouldn't be eating, but it's different from the NHS rule.

The NHS rule is that you should eat and drink, because it helps you get better and so is more efficient for them in the long run.

We'd really like you to get better too. Smile

UrsulaBuffay · 21/02/2011 16:59

just stopping by with a Brew and a Biscuit for those that need them :)

madmouse · 21/02/2011 17:24

snowmash if there is anything you would like or need such as books, magazines, toiletries, clean pjs - pm me your name and a list and I will sort it, never a problem x

snowmash · 21/02/2011 17:45

I dont have anything to do pixie, my head is fuzzy anyway. Wish I didn't have to feel so guilty but can't get away from things my fault.

snowmash · 21/02/2011 17:51

Thank you madmouse (crossposted) you're a star. Screwdriver in a cake? ;) (gallows humour, albeit the feeling is serious if when the doc said if xxx then you will have to have a drip meant no consent needed - hope it doesnt and xxx doesn't happen )

Sorry about the fuzziness. I know what you mean.

Can we send you a favourite comfort book, that you know well and can dip into, or does your head feel too fuzzy for any reading at all?
