Day 1 of this adventure. I’ve got a headache but will soon be going to bed.
My eating window today was 8am-4pm. I’ve got so much to shift & hope I can keep this up. Anyone else want to join?

I am too scared to get on the scales but am a little relieved I am not the only one. 🤣🤣

Have not really fasted for the last week because things have been very disruptive here with visitors, some events etc. On plus side, I haven't been shovelling insane amounts of food in (well, except for yesterday). But I don't think it's going to be good. Hoping to fast properly until 12 today ansd over the weekend and then just crossing fingers. Getting below this 80kg target feels never ending right now. I started my progesterone fpr this mo th last night and I do think I seem to lose more over those 2 weeks do maybe I can rescue this soon!

Weight maintained but fat percentage down

Happy with that!

Definitely recommend scales which measure water and fat, I got some from amazon and they werent expensive

This is brilliant, well done. DH is a big believer in this concept - he works in the fitness industry - and at goal weight, or thereabouts, he bases his decisions regarding if he should be "dieting" a bit on a) how his clothes feel and b) what his percentage fat is.

greengreyblue · 18/10/2024 16:53

Well done @Cashew1 thats a win!
19 hr fast
lunch: egg on sourdough toast spread with a little mashed avocado. Apple
Not sure what dinner will be.

greengreyblue · 18/10/2024 21:21

I cooked a few panko calamari and some Argentinian king prawns (Aldi) in the air fryer and ate them with a crunchy salad. Had 3 glasses of Prosecco. Going to bed soon after my camomile tea.

greengreyblue · 19/10/2024 18:22

20 hr fast
Lunch: wholemeal wrap with salad and some grated cheese- a craving lately for cheese that's not feta or cottage!
An apple
Dinner: slice of tortilla, beetroot , cottage cheese , salad and olives. Wine.

Cashew1 · 19/10/2024 19:28

Love love pumpkin soup

16 hour fast. Chicken salad wrap for lunch. Various snacks… Prawn bhuna and dahl with wholemeal rice for dinner with wine. Today has been FULL ON with both kids solo juggling swimming lesson then a soft play birthday party… sensory overload 😜😵

I don’t think I’ll see a loss again next week at this rate!! Still thinking I’ll do a 24 hour fast mid week to mitigate the weekend!

greengreyblue · 20/10/2024 11:16

Still haven't made soup! Will do later. Got a glut of sweet potatoes so will make a sweet potato and coconut milk soup spiced with cumin and chilli. SPs make such a velvety texture when soup is blitzed.

Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I posted and I have been making incredibly slow progress. I actually looked back to when I last posted and it was a month ago and I have only lost a further 2lb in that time!! I feel like I have been gaining and losing the same lb for the last 2 weeks. Having said that all of my clothes are much looser and I have been able to get in to dresses that I haven’t been able to wear for the past few years so that is a definite result. It’s just so unbelievably slow going. But I don’t struggle with this way of eating and as long as it’s going in the right direction then I shall stick with it.

Hi Rollergirl ( how to tag on the app🤷🏼‍♀️I'm new!)
Nice to hear from you. Sounds like you and Queen and I are all hovering around 62kg and under. I've decided to aim for Christmas for 9st 7 but I'm thinking I will have to be quite drastic. Maybe I've started to be a bit lax or maybe our bodies have become used to less food and we need to give it a sock. Any ideas?

Oooooooh I love the new goal.

i was just thinking today I need renewed motivation. Okay let’s do it

IdLikeToBeAFraser · 20/10/2024 20:07

@Rollergirl11 you sound like me - I've also found that sometimes the weight loss on the scale doesn't seem to match how I feel physically. At a much higher weight than you, I carry a lot of weight on my belly and while I wouldn't say my stomach is flat or anything, it is DEFINITELY a LOT flatter than it was and it no longer protrudes as much even though I've only lost 4.5kg of the 17 I want to lose! Today I was wearing a slightly longer t-shirt and I couldn't believe how much better it looked than usual even without a complicated tucking in/out/sideways scenario!

Octopus45 · 21/10/2024 07:43

Morning, feel like I've plateaud at the moment, finding it harder and I'm finding that I'm not often managing to go for more than 16 hours, get hangry and just want to eat the world. Had a very hungry day yesterday and was 8st11.75 this morning. Had a healthcheck at the GP on Friday (over 40s even though I'm nearly 50), weight at that time of the day was 9st, but I've lost a bit of height, now only 5ft4. Would like to get to 8st7 for Christmas, but not sure if that's realistic, also need to get my mojo back a bit, although I am always sticking to the time window.

GameOfJones · 21/10/2024 09:14

Morning all, back on it after an up and down few days. I did two 22hr fasts in a row Thursday and Friday but then was out a lot over the weekend, was slightly hungover yesterday, woke up starving hungry and ate a bacon and avocado sandwich at 9am so only a 10 hour fast.

So, back on track today and am currently at the gym typing this from the exercise bike 🤣.

greengreyblue · 21/10/2024 16:56

17 hr fast
Lunch: leftover roasted veg with yoghurt dressing, an apple
Dinner: healthier toad in the hole( less oil, lots of veg in batter) with tender stem broccoli.

Queencam · 21/10/2024 19:58

23 hour clean fast. Felt fine but had an extra coffee around 3pm which gave me heart palpitations! Usually would need that coffee to re energise after post lunch slump. With no food I was wired 😜

OMAD was a beef vegetable stir fry, wholemeal noodles and a fried egg on top 👌🏼

greengreyblue · 22/10/2024 17:55

18 hr fast
lumch: chicken, avocado and salad, an apple
dinner: grilled chicken kebabs with bulgur wheat with crumbled feta and herbs/ olives. Satsuma.

greengreyblue · 23/10/2024 17:10

18 hr fast
lunch: bulgur wheat salad, apple
dinner: roasted chicken thighs x2 skin removed. Veggie slaw, baked potatoes with a little cheese. Pear

Queencam · 24/10/2024 09:40

Weighed in at 61.5kg which is my lowest yet. Really chuffed with this - it’s getting close to 9.5 stone.

Throwing in the odd 24 fast seems to really help shift things.

SW 66.8kg
CW 61.5kg
TW 60kg

IdLikeToBeAFraser · 24/10/2024 09:55

I am feeling really down. Have had a good week, managed all my fasting and while I'm not obsessively eating tiny portions, it has not been a gluttonish week.... and this morning I'm back to 2kg over my previous low. I don't seem to have saved when I had got down to almost the same but it's really quite demoralising. I'm pleased to see that 4 days ago I felt thinner because I don't actually feel thinner today so maybe there's some water retention or something going on. It's just a bit demoralising, I have to say.

Ugh it’s so disheartening to see a gain, especially when you’ve been sticking to fasting plan. Very much hope you see a drop on the next weigh in. It’s very much the long game weight loss isn’t it

GameOfJones · 24/10/2024 16:16

@IdLikeToBeAFraser exactly the same here! I've done a few 20hr+ fasts this week and am 1lb up!! I'm so annoyed! Playing the long game as @Queencam says but I totally understand that it's disheartening.
