Morning! Am starting Fast800 today. Anyone care to join me?
Any tips from those who have done it before?
I’ve only been up 2 hours and all I’ve thought about is food so far! I’m surprised how often I think about it!

Asparagus, feta and mint muffins (150 each but I had 2) 300 cals
M&S chargrilled chicken high protein salad 243 cals
Chicken casserole 303 cals

I've been logging all day on my fitness pal (first day) and it won't let me complete diary as I've had under 1000 calories.

What should I do? I'm new to this so any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi @JerichosPenisInADeadChickHat you don’t need to complete the diary just log your calories there the data will save automatically

Indian chickpea patties from the new easy book.

I’m only cooking for myself, so my biggest problem is always adapting the recipes to suit. This recipe serves 4 in the book, but it was easy to halve the quantities, have one portion for dinner and keep one for lunch. I really liked mashing the mix with a potato masher, rather than trying to use a food processor, which is even harder with smaller quantities.

My daughter was up for 2-3 hours in the night so think today will be a tough one!

Oh those patties look nice.

I've just had one egg, tomatoes and mushrooms. Managed to fast until 12 with just water and a black coffee and finding it great so far.

Week one completed! Tomorrow is official weigh day.

sounds like everyone is doing well!
today has been omelette with smoked salmon, a couple of dark choc rice cakes and dinner is the Mediterranean mozzarella chicken.
Those asparagus and feta muffins sound good! is the recipe available online?

Completely fallen off the wagon. DD didn't sleep well last night (up for 2+ hours) and was frankly horrible all morning. An accident meant no nap but a trip to a&e... so have just picked at loads of chicken breast and gammon steak.

I've had a stir fry tonight and I'm still only at around 400 cals for today. I've read most of the book but I haven't seen anywhere what I should do about the remaining 400.

I've only got an hour left in my window before I fast so should I be eating something else before 8pm? Any ideas what if I should?

I don't want to mess up by not getting enough calories. We haven't done much in the way of exercise today if that's relevant. A walk of around 5000 steps

@JerichosPenisInADeadChickHat I'd try to make sure your hitting the 60g of protein more than calories. Although yes, I'd try to up your food intake in general. Did you eat anything else other than the stir fry today?

We tried the blueberry pancakes for brunch yesterday. They were really good! Going to make again for sure.

I weighed in at 7.5lbs down today. One week tomorrow we started back on plan so I'm happy with that loss even if I haven't lost anything extra tomorrow morning. Just written up two week meal plan using mixture of new and old book.

@CoffeethenCrochet thank you. I panicked as nobody had replied before 8pm and I wasn't sure so I just ate half a tin of salmon on a slim cracker thing! Still 200 calories off the 800.

I'd already eaten tomatoes, one scrambled egg and mushrooms at lunchtime as well as the chicken stir fry.

Week one weigh-in, I'm 13 lbs down! It took me 7 weeks on SW to get that.

What are week 2 losses like? I know it will be much less, but I need to prepare myself for it so I don't look at it like a failure.

You really do need to up the calories though - 400 in a day is really, really low and you're not getting sufficient nutrition with that.

Although I realise you posted this yesterday, it's important generally. If you had a stir-fry I'm guessing that you would have had very little fat - which a) you need and b) will get your calories up.

If this happens to you again and you only have a short period of time left in your eating window, how about eating some cheese, or some full fat yoghurt?
