So, 7 days in and I'm down 7.2lb while Dh has stayed at 8lbs. I thought he'd be great at this, he's very focused and results driven by has been crap! Everyday he has a couple of extra things to eat that are on the acceptable list, such as an apple or bit of cheese, but definitely take him over the 800 mark. He laments daily about the lack of carbs in his life and the other night had a whiskey! On the other hand he has thanked me regularly for supporting him and said that everything I've cooked has been delicious.
Ha ha that’s funny. My DP was the same initially. Considered I’d always considered myself the one with an unhealthy interest in food and he always told me he could take it or leave it/wasn’t bothered. It was interesting just how stressed he was at the beginning of this WOE.
I was finding it pretty easy and fasting for 24 hours a day and he was laying in bed talking about bread and cake whilst gripping the bed covers. I think looking back it was because I’d kicked myself out of my carb addiction months before and he was still riding the wave of his sugar cravings. He’s a lot calmer now and is rarely hungry.
