64.80kg! So happy to have broken the 65 barrier. Especially after piggy moussaka lunch! Hurrah!

Zebrasandfairytales · 08/07/2020 11:17

Yey - well done @Plancina !

thenewaveragebear1983 · 08/07/2020 13:28

Made some pretzels with ds today, and in the interests of homeschooling we put some yeast in a jug with warm water and sugar. If I ever felt tempted by bread again, I'm just going to remember the grossness of this foamy scum! No wonder it makes my stomach bloated!

Ok here's some stats then... all in cm except bust which is inches

Originally (pre bsd/running at Easter 2016)
Weight 13.13.4
Waist: 101 cm
Hips 106cm
R thigh 71
L thigh 71
Bust 86 (34 in)
R arm 32.5
L arm 32.5
Calf 37.5

Then 30th may this year:
Weight: 10.13.5
Waist 88 cm
True waist 71
Hips 106
R thigh 63
L thigh 63
Neck 34
Bust 33 inch
R arm 30
L arm 30
Calves 37.5

What's actually more interesting is that since 30th may, I'm about 8lbs down but these are the measurements today:
Waist 79 (-9 cm)
True waist 71 (stayed same)
Hips 100 (-6)
R thigh 58 cm (- 5)
L thigh 58 (-5)
Neck 32 (-2)
Arms 30 (stayed same)
Calves 37.5 (stayed same)

So literally that 8lbs or so of water goes directly into my stomach and thighs! I find that amazing, no wonder I feel huge and bloated because 8lbs isn't a massive amount of weight, it's just where it ends up that matters! My weight loss isn't huge compared to some but I've kept it off now since June 2018 ish and i also know that my muscle/fat ratio is massively different to where I started.

I think some of those originals might be out though, I'd be surprised if my original starting hips measurement was the same as 3 stone lighter for example...?? Maybe mis-copied somewhere from one notebook to another? Still...! Grin

Amazing changes @thenewaveragebear1983

I took some measurements on day one of the fast800 and plan to retake every two weeks, so I’ll check again on Sunday this week.

Botox was painless but sadly he refused to do my wrinkles Grin Now have to stay upright for 4 hours and no bending, lying down or exercise. I did a 33 min HIIT workout this morning and will do a gentle walk later for steps.
Sister arrives tomorrow along with shedloads of Nutella, bread, pasta, chicken nuggets and chips. Send strength!!!

Kimlek · 08/07/2020 16:19

@Plancina can you give her a shelf or a cupboard so you don’t have to look at it? Sending you strength!!! 💪🏼 (That’s a muscle emoji not a chicken leg)

thenewaveragebear1983 · 08/07/2020 18:33

Ended slightly over today, I just had a raging appetite all day (probably a hangover from yesterday) so I indulged it a bit and had some extra calories. Ending on 1500, carbs 65g. 12 k steps (school run x 2 with a walk tagged on the end, plus I did yoga as well)

Tomorrow: I'll do a gentle 5km in the morning. I'm going to pull my calories back down to max 1200 and endeavour to get the carbs low within that, to get the weekend off to a fighting start. I've got a bootcamp session in the evening. I plan to fast as long as possible and then have lunch of eggs, black pudding and mushrooms, then dinner after bootcamp of ...not sure because I haven't been shopping yet this week and it depends what I fancy! Maybe salmon?

Hey @MozzchopsThirty mozzy, 1) you're not disgusting and 2) 90% of what's on those plates is actually ok (Ditch the oven chips, and the crackers, and jobs a good'un)
What's the first rule of this chat? Be kind to yourself. And 2nd- it's not this food, now, that's going to cause you the problem....it's what you do next. It's whether you say "ok, draw a line, plan my food for tomorrow and go to bed" or whether you say "fuck it" and eat a packet of hobnobs. And I guarantee 'disgusting' mozzy is far more likely to eat the biscuits (or whatever) and go to bed feeling unhappy, whereas strong, confident, motivated mozzy is a lot less likely to do that. So find her (she's in there somewhere!) and talk to her like she's your friend, Coax her out.... you've got this SmileThanks

@MozzchopsThirty that doesn’t look so bad! You’re not disgusting, just stop now if you can and try a fast til 12 tomorrow maybe? Drink lots of water, be kind to yourself.

MozzchopsThirty · 08/07/2020 20:18

Oh god it posted so many times!!!!

I ate a 4 finger Kit Kat

But I'm done now Sad

Clevererthanyou · 08/07/2020 23:56

It’s so nice to see the kindness and support here 😊
mozzchops you’re not disgusting and I say that as a 133kg badly obese person who entire an entire red velvet cake on the first day of this diet. I failed the first day! Only I didn’t because I got back up again and I continued to make informed choices. This thread is full of people who can help you succeed if that’s what you want Brew

Clevererthanyou · 08/07/2020 23:57

*who ate an entire, even my fingers are fat 😂😂

Ahh Mozzy we all do this. don’t beat yourself up. Instead dust yourself down and get back on it. Think this girl can!! Right it off as a less than great day. Maybe think about the ‘why’ to help develop a strategy for next time. You absolutely can do this. Today’s a new day. Onwards & downwards!

Kimlek · 09/07/2020 07:14

I’m static this am which isn’t deserved as I ate a piece of DDs strawberry flan. I wish she wouldn’t bake such gorgeous stuff. She’s a real pudding girl with a sweet tooth.... I was exactly the same.
I’ve a dog walk with my youngest DD and her friend & mum, so probs won’t be a brisk one. I may try those pepper quiches for lunch and not sure about dinner maybe steak & veg. Where’s the sun gone? I want BBQs and salads. Middle DD has suggested we do some HIIT together do may finally get off my backside and give it a go.

UsuallyJustLurk · 09/07/2020 07:47

One week in and the official result this morning is 3.75lbs down. My hormones are still raging and I'll be getting some iron supplements today in case that's contributing to how weak I feel. Still holding out for the whoosh so powering through!

Be kind to yourself @MozzchopsThirty

@kimlek I too am missing the sun, lockdown has made me feel like time has stood still, now the weather clearly thinks we're still in March too!

Have a good day everyone Smile

Bestbees · 09/07/2020 07:52

Morning.
@MozzchopsThirty we have all been there and as bear said, what defines us is getting back to it!

I had a really good day yesterday and back to 9.12 this morning. Going to be really good today and hope to see 9.11 tomorrow. Friday is my official weigh in day and was 9.12 last week.
Plan for today is lunch of egg, cottage cheese and coleslaw.dinner stuffed peppers.

WhatWillSantaBring · 09/07/2020 09:30

@thenewaveragebear1983 is very wise! That's really good advice - the "failure" is not the act of eating something we didn't plan, but what we do after. I've been told that a good tip is to drink a large glass of water and think of it is as flushing out the mistake, so you can start again.

I wish I'd done the measurements at the start, but I get my NSV from the tightness of my clothes.

Another mini-whoosh today, 77.5kg. That mythical 11st is the next target (76.1kg). Then a healthy BMI... we've got this ladies.

MozzchopsThirty · 09/07/2020 09:44

Thank you so much @Bestbees @UsuallyJustLurk @Kimlek @thenewaveragebear1983 for such wise words and such amazing support

I slept well, got up and did body pump this morning even though I really wanted to stay in bed.

I've brought a healthy lunch to work and will fast until 12.30

Thank you for the talk about failing, I know now that how I eat and behave today is more important so I don't feel bad SmileSmile
You're all amazing!!!!!

UsuallyJustLurk · 09/07/2020 10:56

Way to go @MozzchopsThirty !! Well done you!
