So 7 weeks done and I stepped on the scales to find I’ve lost 12lbs. Given that I’ve had 2 holidays and not stuck to the calories / had wine etc I’m pleased with that. I am however going to try and complete 5 strict weeks with weekly weigh ins now and see where that gets me. Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine wherever you are. It’s another gorgeous day here.

Well done Seaside!

Ended up having more wine last night (cut with sparkling water, but still) so finished closer to 950 cals, which is still fine-ish more or less? But managed to go to gym this morning.

Yay seaside that's great, and yay kevin as well! And hang in there everyone.

Hello everyone Smile we are back from holiday and we had the 1st Birthday celebration for this month yesterday.
We have two more family birthdays this month (one of which is DD so there will be the birthday and then her party).

My plan, at least for August is to have a reverse 5:2 approach.
My plan is: Mon-Fri 800 cal BSD Days. (Probably also with a 16:8 fasting:eating window)
Sat & Sun trying to stick to a more low carb lifestyle while also surviving the various celebrations we have this month.

September should be easier - no local family Birthdays Grin

I'm curious to see what effect that has on measurements, weight and my general sugar cravings. I'm conscious that it might also take more mental effort to get back into the swing of things on a Monday morning. So I hope that weight loss will spur me on. Hmm
I don't want to wait until September, I want to start now!!

I also have about 2kg of holiday weight to lose again.

All over I've lost 10.5 inches!! Yay!! Can't believe it.

Another good day for me, although I haven’t counted cals/carbs.

Lunch was salad with dressing and Stilton, I’ve had no sugary stuff at all and no snacks. Dinner was salad and hunters chicken, so the only non BSD thing was a couple of tablespoons of bbq sauce in that. Just had Greek yog and raspberries and am now about to pour myself a nice cold g&t!

I’ve done loads of steps- 17k (8km run this morning) and that doesn’t include any in the sea because I took my counter off.

805 cals, 85g carbs. Survived the roast dinner- did not have yorkies or roast potatoes. Did not have pudding. Actually felt a bit ill still all day so just had what I fancied and kept to the calories.

I've nearly suvived the wedding! Filled up on scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and beans for breakfast, skipped lunch (sandwich buffet), left the dauphinoise potatoes at the meal and just had veg with my chicken and haggis (the starter turned out to be potato and cheddar soup, which I did eat), but did fall face-first into the chocolate brownie, it just smelt too good. Will have a tiny piece of wedding cake in a bit and then that's me for the day. Not perfect, but pretty good and back on it properly tomorrow :)

I'm jealous of all the holidays everyone is going on!

Well I have survived my second weekend though I did go slightly over today. I am going away next weekend where I will have no control over food so slightly worried about how that will work out but for now I have another week to keep focusing on.

Great work, anothertrain!

I am continuing to put weight on after my holiday, but back on it tomorrow with a vengeance. So obviously I had to eat leftover trifle for breakfast this morning to make sure it had all gone. I can definitely notice a difference in my moods when I am more casual in my diet.

NSV: bought jeans with a 28inch waist today. NSNV (non-victory): it didn’t make me feel as good as I thought it would. I don’t feel like I deserve them after the past 10 days.

And...Another binge. New total - 1583 cals, 189g carbs.

Feeling very disordered. Not sure why I am having these really good days and not feeling hungry, eating great food, feeling satisfied then actually going to the shop and buying chocolate. And I'm giving it to the kids too. I feel so guilty.

I’ve decided that the rest of the summer holiday is going to be a summer project: Project Abs. I don’t have a tape measure but will weigh in as normal and use some ribbon or something to measure my narrowest part and also the biggest, flabby bit (which is what I want to lose). Not sure if anyone else wants to join in?

I’m not brave enough for a bums and tums gym class, but am going to up my exercise a bit more.

I’m doing very badly! Not planning or weighing and have been incredibly un-BSD this last week. Help me get back on it please.
Had the most disgusting chicken royal burger with chips at Burger King. So many nachos at BBQ and so much wine every blooming evening. Needless to say I’ve successfully reversed my whoosh and gained a ton. I’m so disappointed with myself.
We’ll be staying at a friends Wed to Friday which will not be BSD friendly! She makes curly fries with her spiraliser! Grin
Save me!

I love 30 day shred but be careful of your knees. You need a lot of space for all those lunges and things. I use a hiit timer app now so I have taken the bits I like from shred and put together my own little workout. Try also fitness blenders, or Jessica (Simpson? I think?) on YouTube for workouts.

Snow important is getting back in the swing of things today, you can’t undo what happened. Can you think about the choices you made and why so that you can avoid it happening again?

My weight this morning was 91.5kg. So a 2kg holiday gain.
Today is day 1 and I am planning to stick to 800 cal a day this week.

At the weekend we have DD’s 4th birthday in Saturday and then another family birthday (which means lunch invitation followed by cake) on the Sunday.
So fingers crossed for the weekend and next Monday Hmm I haven’t eaten anything yet today.
About to make a little meal plan for the next few days... how do others usually organise themselves?

5km walk done this morning. Considering I haven’t managed much exercise the last couple of weeks I’m really happy with the time I managed!

Right, starting Project Abs off with a weigh in of 11st 5.8, but my holiday food has all been eaten so can move on and get back on the wagon. Have a few weekend things booked in but can work around that I think.

I have measured my narrowest point and also my flabby bit with pieces of ribbon and a sharpie. There is a big difference in the two! About to go the gym for 2 lunchtime classes, a kettlebells one and something terrifying involving circuits with a rowing machine.

Blew it again last night by having a (too-large) handful of almonds before bed, so ended last night at 1128 cals and 44 gr carbs. Worse things have happened.

Pleasant reading on the scale this morning, but need to give it a few days to see if it's real or random fluctuation.

But did manage to hold off eating until 11:45 this morning, so hopefully am going to stick to an eating window again. Had what is becoming my favourite lunch - leftover cauli rice with salt-and-pepper prawns and sesame bok choy. Now just need to drink some herbal tea so I don't smell quite so garlicky...

Impressed by your Monday morning exercise energy nounderpants and dandelion!

Hi!

If I joined in, would I have to post my weight?

Report
NoUnderpantsinSpace · 06/08/2018 12:47

Allroads im certain you can post as much or as little as you like. Include your weight if you want to - it isn't for anyone else! So if you don't want to then don't Grin I totally understand. I can't bring myself to tell anyone my real weight (or the fact that I am technically obese) in real life. DH knows because he loves me and doesn't judge me one tiny bit. He makes a point of saying that I am always sexy to him.

Very I try and get out for a 5km walk around 3 times a week - mon, wed and fri. But I'm hopefully starting a Pilates class on future Friday mornings!

That's also another good reason to loose weight... big mirrors at the front of the studio made sure I saw every bit how very fat I am Blush I'm sure no one else cares... but I didn't like it Sad

Right.

Lunch went slightly over 400 cal which is more than I planned. But I have shakshooka (sp? It's eggs cooked in a tin of tomatoes basically) planned for dinner and that works out around 350 cal I think.
