So, with BYMT auditions already underway and NYMT open for booking, it's surely time for a 2022 thread?? Who's in?

Submitted DD's NYMT actor self-tape and booked her audition today, eek! Need to also get her musician audition recorded this side of Christmas as we go on hols on 27th and she's back to school on 4/5th (PCR dependent 🙈)

Ds has asked how many people were in the class. Think he found it hard last year as he said there were so many that they must’ve been on multiple screens. Just wondered if that had changed this year?

There were about 25 and they were broken up into smaller groups for some parts. Have to say I was worried about how DD would cope as we had tears after dance last year, but it seemed much much better this time! She genuinely loved it.

That sounds much better- so glad it was a positive experience for her.

They told them about the plans for the shows too - so she's incredibly excited, especially about musician possibilities!

Was she sworn to secrecy or can you reveal!

I'm not sure I can say so will err on the side of caution until it's on the website 😘

Didn’t have to wait too long - the NYMT shows have now been released on the website.

Came on to say the shows are announced and see McMumager was quicker off the mark than me! They also said in yesterday's zoom there would be a touring show, TBC depending on who they find. DS enjoyed his zoom yesterday. As always, impossible to tell how it went when you're not actually in the room but we will just have to see! Good luck to everyone.

Wasn’t going to encourage dd to audition this year but having seen the season and the showcase concerts I might see if she would like to try again!

Always worth auditioning if DC is keen, I think.

Hi- is anyone auditioning for NYMT tomorrow? Not had an invite or link yet and I always start to panic!

DS got his during the evening last Friday. Fret not! If you haven't heard by 9pm maybe email the enquiries email, but I'm sure something will come through. Hope he has a great time and it all goes well for him!
