So, with BYMT auditions already underway and NYMT open for booking, it's surely time for a 2022 thread?? Who's in?

Submitted DD's NYMT actor self-tape and booked her audition today, eek! Need to also get her musician audition recorded this side of Christmas as we go on hols on 27th and she's back to school on 4/5th (PCR dependent 🙈)

@doesanybodyhaveamap noooooooo 😭 we have ‘Anniegate’ two dds in final four for two lead roles as Annie, one dd was Annie, but thankfully DD2 got role of Tessie…. But still

Well it's all gone quiet. No news here. DS knows of 3 people with recalls and one no thanks but also plenty with no news. It will be what it is.

@Biscuitsneeded is there any pattern to the no’s or the recalls? Eg audition date or all for one show?

Hope you ds is ok with the wait- at least we are oblivious here- not mentioning anything until we get that email! I don’t think he knows anyone else auditioning so I can get away with it!

Only got one so no danger of anything-gate. Dd was a late no last year and not heard yet but expecting another no really. She enjoyed the audition workshop so much it didn’t really matter!

Congratulations @doesanybodyhaveamap. Really great news. DS heard this pm too. He has recalls for A Kiss for Cinderella and Ragtime and is really pleased. Now just got to hope they send the materials soon as he has rehearsals and then shows pretty much all of next week.

By the way, nobody he knows (and he knows a lot of people!!) who auditioned this past weekend of 5/6 Feb has heard anything yet, so if your DC are waiting for news still from a recent zoom, don't panic.

Some from 29/30 I think, but not all. It's horrible speculating in the absence of news, I know, but no news remains good news.

@McMumager who knows? I reckon they will be viewing all the videos for last weekend and this over the course of this weekend so that they can pretty quickly make some decisions after the final zooms tomorrow. You might hear later today, or you might hear tomorrow, or maybe Monday. I doubt it will be later than that though as they will realise people need to be able to organise travel etc. I hope that's not famous last words!
