Hiya, I'm here lurking but have had no time to post for the last few days. Made running club last night (in the rain!) while mum miniT sat. Have written my share of Mr T's eulogy today, will run before the funeral tomorrow to try to clear my head.

The celebration of his life kicks off at 12pm tomorrow, finish time unknown. The Crem looks like it'll be standing room only and I doubt there'll be a dry eye as MiniT has written a poem. Gulp. xxx

OrmIrian · 09/12/2009 21:53

Will be thinking of you tomorrow twink.

Wheelybug · 09/12/2009 22:03

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/12/2009 09:10

Good luck today Twink and such a brave mini-T for writing a poem. Thinking of you all.

saggarmakersbottomknocker · 10/12/2009 11:26

Thinking of you today Twink; you'll do him proud. x

Twink · 10/12/2009 18:37

We got through, it was an absolute blinder. MiniT was super and I held on for my bit, even made people laugh! My Mum led the whole thing and my dad did an awesome section too. It was packed to the gills, a real tribute to an amazing bloke.

I went running first thing, and watched the sun rise over the Crem. Corny but it helped. Off to hit the wine hard now and plan how to move forward from here. RIP Mr T

no d ds3 now so I can type.

Twink - Iam glad today was as it was planned to be - a great tribute to a great man. I will be drinking a glass or two with you this evening and thinking of you.

Been thinking - if we get wrist bands made for the mn marathon, I think it should say 'Keep on running'. That has become a bit of a mantra on this thread - especially in recent months. WHat do we think?

I have alos been putting a little more thought into logistics.

ow do we want to organise this? SHall we make teams fromthis thread first? Then make teams from new recruits in new yearor should we just hold it open and I will set a deadline and do mixed teams?

SHoould a startan advertsiing thread now?
Should we have a joint just giving site for donations?

What would we like MNHQ to do to help? Justine said that they will do what they can to help/support including having a MNHQ team - whgich we will hold them to!!!

Just going to do an updated pledge list
