Oh Twink. I am so sorry and can't imagine what you must be going through. I will be thinking of you, Mr Twink and your family.

Twink - I hope you get through these next days and months without too much heartache. I am so sorry that Mr Twink didn't make it to Christmas but I am so pleased you were all together at home at the end. There is nothing quite like being together as a family at home. Hearing your story has really kept things in perspective for me so thank you for sharing it with me. You have also got me thinking about pushing myself outside of my comfort zone once more (see earlier ridiculous commitment to run the Richmond Park loop twice and I haven't yet run more than 5 miles in one go since DC4's arrival this year) - I am wondering how I could manage to train to join you at the UKHIM next year ! Keep strong and keep running.

Hi Ladies,
I hope you dont mind me joining in, I was on a thread last week as my asthma was playing up and someone suggested taking up running I think it was ormirian tbh its something I had been thinking about for a while I want to exercise and dont have much time (my DH works away a month at a time). I have 2 DD's DD1 is 5 and DD2 is 1 and work part time too. I have NEVER been a runner so am a total beginner I have been on the bupa website and looked at the programme couch to 5K and went out to give it a try this morning, I have to say I really enjoyed and would like to keep motivated.

I went out with my group last night as I felt the sooner I faced people the better so did a swift 5 miles with a couple of the speedy guys and slept all the better for it.
