I took advantage of the break between the weather warnings to go for a very muddy 5k run. 28min 48sec (hard direction, with added water hazards). That’s my 8 runs for September target completed.

4 mile walk - I'd like to say it was my dedication to health and fitness that forced me out into the lashing rain, but I had my nieces dog, so I had no choice. I have discovered that my Regatta waterproof parka is no longer waterproof - even my bra was wet. Happy spaniel though.

Well done on the new PB, MotherForkin!

T25 Ripped Circuit done. Hip marginally better than yesterday but now my lower back is niggling. On the whole I feel pretty positive and content with middle age, but I do wish it came with fewer ‘ouch’ moments. On the plus side, two more workouts and I’ve finished Beta.

I too had an unplanned rest day yesterday- couldn’t drag myself out of bed to exercise before work, and work went like a rocket all day and into the evening so by the time I got home there was no time. Hope your back was better for it, MotherForkin.

You’re charging towards your target, Alittlefrustrated - it’s very impressive.

T25 dynamic core done this evening. The end of Beta is in sight, but then I have to start Gamma. At least that’s only 4 sessions a week instead of 5.

Yes, the accountability really focuses the mind, doesn't it, frustrated!

My back is fine again, thanks Professor, but I was still tired yesterday so I went a bit easier. My run this evening felt much harder than the last couple of weeks.

I keep forgetting, frustrated, I don't know if you want to check your watch's accuracy, but I use this route plotter sometimes. It's a bit fiddly but does the job if you want to get an idea of how close you are.

Sorry about your sleep,Motherforkin: I have spells like that too and it’s so frustrating.

T25 Gamma, Speed 3.0 done. I’m not doing this one again, I’ll get injured. There’s nothing in there that I actually can’t do at all, apart from the burpee into a push-up jack, but they’re mostly tough moves and it goes too fast. I’m just too uncoordinated for these speed workouts.

106 - I look on track for my target of 150 for the year.

You've cerainly put some work in ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson - I've become too injury prone and arthritic to even think about you've been doing. Those days are gone.
Morning swim today - don't know how many lengths after 30, as I was too busy silently raging as I had to weave in and out of too many people going too slow. I was practically swimming on the spot at one point - hemmed in.
One girls bikini was so tiny I felt like her gynaecologist. 🤣
