Another thread to keep going!

Starting week 4 of T25 beta today, so I only have to get up really early three times next week.Ripped Circuit. Sodding one-legged burpees today. He’s obsessed with burpees (also with the evil thing that I think of as a boat pose and he calls a V-sit).

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 08/09/2024 08:48

MotherForkin, I meant to congratulate you on your new PB yesterday- I wouldn’t be able to shift 65kg at all. The heaviest dumbbells I have are 8 kg.

T25 dynamic core today. Definitely the hardest of the Beta workouts, there were a couple of places where I couldn’t keep up at all.

ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 09/09/2024 21:25

T25 core cardio. Bloody hell. This one is hard too (the burpees are not the most awful moves). Somehow, while I was on holiday, I’d persuaded myself that it wasn’t that bad.

Hope everyone else is doing OK!

Well done on the new PB Motherforkin!!!🥇. Amazing!

Wow great going on the T25 Professor. It sounds horrendous. I can't remember the last time I did burpees, let alone single leg ones. I don't think I'll ever get back to that level of fitness now I'm well and truly past middle age; I'm sure I would damage something 😏

Nice to see you back Bez 💖

Finally feeling human again so Nat Hayward strength workout done. Man was I stiff doing this. Had to look so far back in the thread for my total, you have all been killing it!! 🙌

After feeling good about Friday's class, I was completely flattened by food wine poisoning on Saturday and only back on my feet today. Had a run while ds was at football.

I'm on day 10 of a sober challenge. Am waiting in an airport, sans bierre, for a flight up to Scotland.

I've booked in two BodyCombat classes and a guest appearance at a local Boxercise class.

I have no idea what my total is but I've been doing my Boxercise and BodyCombat consistently, if very little else!

Safe travels, Bez. Are you travelling for the funeral? Take care of yourself.

S&c today. We were doing bench presses and I managed a pb there. Only 32.5kg for 3 reps but I was proud of my gammy shoulder for holding up!

Nice PV action @MotherForkinShirtBalls !

Yeah I'm up in Fife for a funeral on Monday. Been to BodyCombat at the fancy new sports centre in Glenrothes tonight, after walking 3 miles to get there.

Am on the early Edinburgh train tomorrow to do Boxercise in Morningside, then I'll take a swim to freshen up and grab some brunch on the go to a meeting at 12.30. It's a busy trip.

Turns out I over did my shoulder yesterday so I did my hill walk this morning and a short swim at lunchtime to ease it out a bit.

You're great at making the most of the class opportunities Bez.

Sorry about your shoulder, MotherForkin.

Bez, you’re putting me to shame - I have less going on than you do and haven’t achieved much this week. Work’s been busy and I’ve been feeling a bit rough (though not positively ill) and I couldn’t face T25.

Yoga class today, hoping to be able to brave Shaun T again tomorrow.

Thanks Professor, my shoulder is one of those annoying things that I need to use it or lose it, but it's easy to accidentally push a bit too much. That said, I'm so (probably overly) careful of it, it doesn't take too much to bring it back again.

S&c this morning.

OP posts:
ProfessorRadcliffeEmerson · 15/09/2024 08:38

T25 upper focus - apart from the push-ups this one isn’t so bad.

BezMills · 15/09/2024 11:26

Boxercise first thing Friday, then had a short swim more to use the showers than anything else. Was wandering round Edinburgh a fair bit as well.

This morning I was up early and did BodyCombat in Edinburgh. One of the tracks was one I'd done my qualification on, and the instructor invited me up to team teach it. I was absolutely made up, so good to be up in front of a class again, even just for 5 minutes

Absolutely drained now!

Run today. I had a really long day in work, and was in dire need of moving hard afterwards so running felt really good, even when my lungs were about to collapse!

Hi ladies, I'm back with a new user name (was Imfree). Good to see you are all doing well. It's 100 days to Christmas Eve - so I'm going to aim for 100 active days.
Today - 50x25m swim, and 1hr pilates class.
1/100.

BezMills · 17/09/2024 06:34

That's a great goal @Alittlefrustrated good luck!

OublietteBravo · 17/09/2024 12:48

I keep forgetting to post, but I’m currently managing 2 runs per week. Today I did 5k in the difficult direction (two big uphill sections in the final mile): 28min 31sec

roonetta · 17/09/2024 14:04

Well done everyone! I like your thinking frustrated, I need to take a leaf out of your book 😁

2 mile WWL done ☑️

S&c today.

I actually posted before my class, to make myself go. It was one of the hardest I've done, but I managed two pbs, first 57.5kg for 4 squat reps then 60kg for 3 squat reps. 💪

Nice run while ds was at his class. Legs a bit heavy after yesterday so good to move them.

Busy day today, but I've been to my pilates class 1 hour.

I'm still very sore from Monday's class so s&c was a bit of a slog this morning
