Boxercise on Monday. One of the crew requested Sally Up as a birthday treat. I was giggling to myself during the workout as nobody had any idea what they were in for, except the one who asked for it.

If you haven't done it before, play this track on YT. Start in a low squat and go up on Sally Up, down on Sally Down. It's horrendous to be quite honest. I felt like I'd just ran a half marathon at the end.

Tuesday off, Weights every day, BodyCombat Thursday and Bendy Stretchy Friday.

I did weights then BodyCombat yesterday, then went to a lakeside sauna with Anna Sensei. Was lovely and the hour we had booked flew past. The 'ice bath' felt properly cold but it turned out to be like 9C, which is pretty tropical relative to the sea just now (probably 5ish, I haven't dipped since October ish).

Definitely doing that again. Weights, cardio, sauna, and I slept well too!

You can do Sally Up with any exercise really - I've seen people do it with pressups, lunges, squats. Anything that has a down and an up (preferably the down is hard to hold, since you spend most of the song in Sally Down)

Hi all 👋 looks like you've all been busy. I had my surgery the week before last so I'm doing nothing more than pottering around the house. I have my first physio appointment on Friday so I hope she'll give me a plan to restart gently. I'm even missing walking the arsehole dog!

Weights and BodyCombat Sunday, BLT then Boxercise Monday, weights yesterday and today (30).
There's a recently qualified Boxercise trainer going to set up a class in the gym, which I'm pretty chuffed about.
I get plenty of pad-holding as the instructor, but never get to do the punchy punch bit (which is, clearly, the more fun bit), so I'd love to do a class where I don't have to teach, and just get to work out.
