Swim at the pool. Because I've been using my swim bag for my sea dips, I had the wrong togs, an old hat and no mp3 player so it was short! (Luckily I hadn't take out my shampoo)

I am really struggling with menopause symptoms at the moment. No period for 4 months now and the hot flushes and night sweats have really kicked in, along with a constant 'spaced out' feeling. Concentrating on lifting more weights as I know that is good for us menopausal gals 😁

Woke up feeling fine, but somehow managed to throw my back while standing still in the shower. FFS. I still went to the gym and did some upper body weights then tried to do Combat. I bowed out after the warm up, I could just tell it wasn't going to work out for me.
I had to cancel circuits and bendy stretchy yesterday, but taught Boxercise as usual. (15)

The cough turned out to be a raging chest infection - after some antibiotics it finally seems to be on the way out and I'm coughing less, but January has been a complete write -off for exercise.

Beginning to get back on it now - yoga class this morning.

I've had a few sea dips as the rain has allowed but not much else the last few days. I've just spent the last three hours hacking through the undergrowth that is supposed to be our back garden. My abs are killing me so I'm counting it!

I hit post too soon... glad to see you're back and feeling a bit better Professor. There are some horrible doses doing the rounds, sorry to hear one of them got you.

Fast (for me 😂) swim this morning - probably the usual 40 ish x25m, but lost count, so just carried on

I need to motivate myself to do some strength training - and an extra weekly at home pilates session, on top of the 2 classes. I love it once I get going, it's just getting started 😳

Yes @Alittlefrustrated same here. I am loving the weights now, but it took ages to get going. One day I just decided to get in the gym and do a starter session. Didn't bother putting gym clothes on, just went in my normal clothes and did a very light workout. Two weeks later and I'm properly on it.
I'm only doing 4 or 5 exercises, trying to keep the sessions short, so I have more chance of fitting them in before Bendy Stretchy or BodyCombat
