Wow, that's impressive doing walking and running, brimful!

7.2 km today after the weather brightened up

858.7. I think I should be able to get to 1K Km by the end of the month. Bad units there ... a thousand kilometres should be a megametre shouldn't it, so 1Mm Grin

I’d love a rowing machine errol and miss it, it was great cardio at the gym when I had running injury in the past.
Hows the glute/ham string holding up bear?

Got my 2nd Tri practice done early Sat morn, despite the icy bouncy sea swim conditions, cycled 14k, swam 280m and ran 3k. The icy sea swim before I run is helping the tendonitis in my leg.

Running 260.5km
Walking 560kms since mid-March
Cycling 385km
Swimming 12.5km

The rower is great as a fallback when for whatever reason I've not got out. It's a concept 2 so a good solid piece of kit but takes up quite a lot of space in the garage. We've got a cross trainer too which DH prefers but I don't like, it always feels a bit too big for me.

We're jus back from a lovely walk in a large area of moorland. with hardly any other people ... I'm waiting for DH to check the distance on the map as both of us managed to pause our activity trackers when we stopped at various points and not restart them so I only logged 7.8 km in total.

ErrolTheDragon · 07/06/2020 19:34

So that was 11.9, including a path we'd never walked on before despite the state of the walk only being about 20 mins from home. I think that's because part of it is not a public footpath, but a route developed since the area became access land. And it's probably very boggy usually, still quite squelchy in places despite the low rainfall over the last few months.

Had a fairly miserable May. I stubbed my toe on a box of stuff destined for the dump, should it ever re-open , and couldn't get a "proper" shoe on for a week, and it was uncomfortable for another week or so. Seemed to be the nail bed causing the trouble and I only managed 50km. However have done 24km since the beginning of June so feeling more positive even though I am well behind target.

ErrolTheDragon · 07/06/2020 23:43

Oh, bad luck - toes can be a real bugger. I've had occasions of unseasonal enforced flip flop wearing.
Glad it sounds like it's on the mend though it may be that you'll shed the toenail at some point IME that stage is a bit unsightly and inconvenient rather than debilitating.

Little injuries that keep you from running are so frustrating.
5k this morning.
I am in Ireland and our lockdown phase changed today so I am hoping my running group will be back on Friday.

@triskirun it's getting there, I'm being very careful during lockdown as no therapy massages! If I do a particularly long or fast run I feel it the next day so I'm plodding along with my 5/6/7 kms and an occasional long one!

Running in heavy rain on empty streets is just the best.

Only did 5k because I needed to get home but I really enjoyed it.

Tough one today, I'm low carbing this week quite strictly to try to shift my lockdown Weight gain but as a result I feel like my legs didn't quite get going.

10 km today - a walk alongside a lovely stretch of river which we've looked at on maps and wished there was a path, DH found out that it does have a permissive path.Smile

Really struggling with Mojo this week only done a couple of yoga sessions. So was real effort to go do 30min bike ride before DH left for work and I’m in the never ending juggle of my job & home schooling. But I also did do a Joe Wickes session with my youngest after the ride.
