Frustrating 6km for me today.
It was very icy so went later than usual to let it thaw a bit and went to park rather than run the roads.

My phone stopped working as soon as I started running and laps of the park are just boring. Nearly as bad a a treadmill.

I had planned 12k but was so bored I stopped after 6.

Fullyhuman · 12/02/2020 15:09

I ran a mile! I’m so happy. Only slowly and on a cushioned treadmill, it’s early days, and I only just did it so not yet sure how my pelvis will like it but I am very pleased.
Also rowed 4 and walked 2.5.

Well done!

We had a bit of a break in the weather so a nice brisk 6.4 km park and canal.

I'm really excited to find this thread! Aiming for 1000 miles - cycling, walking and swimming.

12miles walked and 17 cycled so far in Feb. 96 miles total in Jan.

Well done to everyone who is still moving, especially through the recent terrible weather!!

I've been full of a streaming cold for over a week now (thanks to the DC for sharing that one!), have still been walking but nothing more really. Can't breathe properly and am generally miserable. DTS1 has asked to go swimming over half term, hopefully I'll be feeling well enough for that soon...

5.4 km, via garden centre. It held off from raining until I was nearly home and then only drizzle (it's raining properly now)

Turbo trainer in the shed 35mins as resting foot from running, it’s as dull as ditchwater doing it but ticks the exercise fix box.

45mins of turbo trainer TV, I’ve found watching House of Cards game show passes the time abit better as I’m answering the questions Grin but it’s still dull. Think I’m actually struggling with shin splints so it’s definitely a 2wk break from running as even walking has been aggravating itSad and I’ve already gained 2lbs Sad

We had a window of sunshine - 8.7 km canal and river (the latter high but not quite in flood, fortunately)

Arrh added the cycling to the running total now corrected.

Cycling 100km

thenewaveragebear1983 · 16/02/2020 19:01

@TriSkiRun99 hope you are ok? I'm having a rest from running this week too as it's half term so will be unlikely to fit much in, so will use it as an opportunity to rest the hamstring!
I'm going to do a few classes that I can't normally attend due to work, and use my new punchbag for a hiit workout a few times. Plus I'm doing 30 days of yoga so will carry on with that too.

31.32 miles of walking done this week! Would have been way more had the weather not been so appaling over the weekend!

TriSkiRun99 · 18/02/2020 13:51

I’m ok bear thanks, I’m just missing the running buzz and because I’d also crooked my neck I couldn’t swim either.

Cycle trainer in the shed again 45mins this morning laughing at Graham Norton on iPlayer.
