It is very nearly 2018, so here is a thread to track your exercise goals.

It doesn't matter if you are new to exercise, or merely continuing your current regime. Everyone is welcome!

Bloody hell its hot here at a the moment (32 C). I’ve just done both levels of 6W6P - I had to use a towel midway through to dry myself off Shock

Today I actually caught myself thinking that 28C was pleasantly cool Grin

Still a very sweaty exercise session: NMTZ

I seem to have fallen off the exercise wagon.... and now away for a few days. July has not been a great month exercise-wise!!

So will make more of an effort for August. I've ordered a new DVD - the Jillian ones aren't great if you can't bend one of your knees (lots of squats and lunges in most of her combinations). Saw orthopaedic yesterday. Knee is doing well but he said to continue not bending it until end of September.

OublietteBravo · 25/07/2018 20:16

It’s so easy to fall off the wagon, isn’t it?

It must be frustrating waiting for your knee to get better.

Still hot here. Still making myself exercise. Cardio this evening: BFBM

I’m having a mid-week rest day. It’s just too hot to exercise (it’s 8pm and still 32C)

I'm with you Oub. In London now and although it's not as hot as Athens, none of the buildings/houses are designed for this heat and it's just roasting inside....

My plans is to commence regular exercise 1st August when back home Smile

OublietteBravo · 27/07/2018 19:34

Yesterday was crazy - it was 33C in my “air conditioned” office. Yep - hotter than outside Hmm

I did manage to exercise today. Just a short session: 6W6P L1. It’s supposed to be cooler from tomorrow onwards.

Rest day yesterday. Strength today: NMTZ

(144/106; 117h 50min)

On target as far as number of hours goes, a little behind on number of days.

I dusted off some different DVDs this evening. Just done 30DS L1D1 & the cardio circuit from 1 Week Shred (which is brutal).

50 mins resistance work with new Tracy Anderson DVD. Didn't really like it. Very hard to follow and just so cross I still can't bend my knee. It's so restrictive.
But at least I exercised....

Same combination as yesterday. Only sweatier!

5km run plus some resistance work.

My whole body is aching after the Tracy Anderson DVD yesterday. And to think I didn't really feel like I'd worked out Grin Muscles I have no clue how I worked then are hurting!!!

Tracy Anderson design something or other L2. 50 mins of resistance work for whole body. Better than L1 but still boring...,

5km run

Plus some resistance work for bum, back and legs. So around 50mins-1 hour altogether I think.

OublietteBravo · 06/08/2018 20:08

Oh dear - the weekend didn't go well. Two rest days. Travelling to Yorkshire and back (360 mile round trip) every weekend really cuts into my exercise time. Bloody children!

Still hot & sticky. Nevertheless this evening I managed BFBM & 30DS L1.

It’s still uncomfortably hot for exercising. I’m quite looking forward to the cooler weather promised for tomorrow.

A very sweaty 30DS L1 & 1WS - cardio.

Hooray! It is only 24C today. Much more pleasant for exercising.

Both levels of 6W6P.
