If there's a Uni near you that has a sports science dept you may be able to get a DEXA scan done, which is the most accurate body comp without having an autopsy. I got one done a few weeks ago- calcs bone density and accurate fat and lean tissue composition. Quite interesting.

I can't find us on the website but we're on pg 51 and have taken a screen shot from the app Smile

Just did 1.3 extremely windy miles. God it was hard - felt more like 10 miles. Like running through treacle. That'll teach me to have two days off.

Disclaimer: I have never run 10 miles.

Toast and peanut butter sounds like a very good idea. I had a banana when I first got up but maybe I'll have another.

feetheart · 30/01/2015 12:12

Grrrr, just lost post Angry

feetheart · 30/01/2015 12:12

Thank you feet. Oops.

feetheart · 30/01/2015 12:16

We need 51 and a bit parkruns tomorrow to get us to 2500 :o

cinnamongreyhound · 30/01/2015 12:18

I'll be parkrunning Smile

EElisavetaofJingleBellsornia · 30/01/2015 12:25

4.2 last night in the icy cold so up to 2345.85

5madthings · 30/01/2015 13:19

I should be doing 6 miles tomorrow. :)

BlueChampagne · 30/01/2015 13:29

Only 8.6 from me this week - turned my ankle dodging ice, so since I haven't a race to train for till June, I'm giving it a proper rest for a few days. Takes us to 2354.45.

Suzannewithaplan · 30/01/2015 15:31

I'd be very interested to get a dexa scan Aggressivebunting, especially to know what my bone density is like...were your results what you expected?

Turned ankles have cause me no end of problems, I hope yours is ok Champagne.

I've revived my MFP account, connected it to garmin and will now log all food eaten so that I can stay in energy balance!

Sirzy · 30/01/2015 17:10

5 from me.

2359.45

Can we get 2500 this month?

Suzannewithaplan · 30/01/2015 17:33

bit of a long shot I think, only the rest of today and tomorrow to go....

postmanpatscat · 30/01/2015 18:46

8 miles to add from yesterday makes 2367.45

fairgroundsnack · 30/01/2015 18:55

Hello can I join in? I'm doing 6 miles cross country with lots of mud and hills tomorrow morning - on my birthday too!

Suzannewithaplan · 30/01/2015 19:51

hi Fairground please do join in and add your miles:)
and what better way is there to spend a birthday :o

AggressiveBunting · 31/01/2015 03:39

15.6 from me this morning- last long run before the race next Saturday. Felt quite comfortable although I was a bit tired when we set off. Wore my long socks again- they definitely help.

Total 2383

originalpiratematerial · 31/01/2015 10:51

3.1 treadmill miles from Thursday to add.

2386.1

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 31/01/2015 10:52

Such is my dedication to this thread that when parkrun was cancelled this morning instead of going back to bed I ran 6.3 muddy miles in my local country park Smile

2389.3 - 110 miles to go!

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 31/01/2015 10:53

ooh x-post with pirate

2392.4

HalleLouja · 31/01/2015 11:07

3.1 miles to add makes 2395.1. Hard work on parkrun here but I did it and finished really strongly.

Oh that is dedication!

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 31/01/2015 11:33

Grin Halle

And I cycled to parkrun extra early as I was supposed to have been volunteering Smile

Might go for a swim later so I can say I have done a triathlon today Grin

ThursdayLast · 31/01/2015 11:47

Well done OhOne you're committed for sure!

I had a similar parkrun Halle. It was awful, I haven't been out all week, it kept hailing, I turned my ankle about a mile in etc etc etc
But I made it to the end Grin

So total now 2398.2

Got a 10k race tomorrow

OhOneOhTwoOhThree · 31/01/2015 11:55

Hope the 10K goes well tomorrow and your ankle is OK Thursday
