Quite a few of us are interested in doing the Wolf Run this September so we were thinking of getting a team together.

It's for all abilities, it should be really good fun. It's not timed and it'll be too wet to wear your Garmin, so don't worry if you're not a fast runner. We'll be a team and no Wolef will be left behind.

It's on the 6th & 7th of September just south of Coventry, so fairly central. If we get a team together we get a slightly discounted entry.

If you're interested, post on here and we'll start making a list.

We also need to pick a charity so if everyone wants to suggest their favourite one and then we can argue about it for ages with no firm decision being made.

So, I'm in and my favourite charity is the Birth Trauma Association.

Shall we all do a press up challenge or something? Or should we vary things a bit more? I bet all our biceps are pretty good (children are heavy). My core still needs work and I can't manage very many press ups yet.

I won't chicken out either. As long as I have no difficulty chucking 20 or 25 kg of horse feed onto my shoulders I will remain overconfident of my upper body strength

my running powers are still quite badly impaired by injuries but I have faith :)

demonstrated by a nice young man (and friend) if people are interested in a range of easier or harder or just want to check normal form

I think I'll use dumbbells on the floor to save wear and tear on my elderly wrists

Just did day 1, because if I can't do them on a day when I'm loafing around, how will I ever when I've got to work!

Pah Emma, that all you got? Easy peas Grin I'm a right planker, me. (Just don't ask for chinups - I tried a bit of a sideways monkey thing on the asymmetric bars at the Olympic gym today and managed about a metre before I fell off. And got a blister on my palm.)
